P3: Hair looking more haystacky than usual. Wonder what he’s thinking about, with that look on his face? Can I keep both her and Ms. Wapfler?

Will this high school baseball season end before college football starts? “Sorry coach. You want me to pitch Saturday but the coach at Milford College wants me to QB the football team against Georgia Tech.”

Our love’s gonna be destroyed like a tragedy

    Just like Romeo and Juliet

P1, Insane Zane will be off to college before the library board decision is made which will end up making Mopman right as he’ll have to decline the offer and give the job to (Dis)Able(d).

P2, You already got caught “sneaking around” the library. I don’t remember the kids calling it that back in the ’60s.

P3, Yep, just like in the showers, Zane.

And now we see the shortcomings of a Milford education. Don’t they realize they both die at the end of the play?

I know none of us is surprised, but Zane’s hair changed color since yesterday’s strip. It went from CK’s brown to Mimi’s yellow.

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

Swordfights? More like accidental suicide pacts, kid! Surprisingly, it seems like someone maybe hasn’t been spending enough time at the library.

Tomorrow, Abel B. is taking a hard look at the cost and quality of video from the library’s current security camera system and discovers some videos from the day before that are quite surprising to him. Later that night, when queried by Abel, Katy sez “…gosh no, daddy, I haven’t seen Zane since the debate…why do you ask?…”

Oh ba-rother! So Burrito banned her from seeing Zane just because of the Library Board position? And if they pick Zane, then he’ll just be fine with her dating him again? He didn’t like him before this lunacy started, so I don’t see how anything is different now or will be in the future.

And speaking of in the future, Mopped Up Thorp hilarity is in your future – https://moppedupthorp.wordpress.com/

P3.5: Yes, Kate (you shrew) it is like R&J, because the writers would really have a hard time coming up with something romantic that was like Coriolanus.
