Read an article in the paper this morning where a surprise birthday party was raided for violating covid rules in Australia, and the partygoers were fined the equivalent of $18,000. Police were tipped off when 2 people were observed buying 20 dinners to take out at a KFC. Had to laugh, but wonder if our government should be a little more consistent in enforcing state rules about large gatherings during this pandemic.

It may be too late to jump in on this thread, but last night on the news I saw an interview with a nurse who said a man in his thirties told her shortly before he died “I think I made a mistake. I went to a COVID party and caught the virus. I thought it was a hoax.”

I finally got to read this one today (July 13th) and I laughed out loud on this one. Not because of the accurate statements that people say, but from the final one saying “what a bunch of maroons!”. I say that a lot about people in my biz and the other people who hear me question what I said. So it’s great to see somebody else quote Bugs Bunny!

The Lord protects those who protect themselves. Wear a mask. If it helps, draw on it a cross, a Star a David, whatever works. Just wear the mask.
