“Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be, the last of life, for which the first was made. Our times are in his hand who saith, ’A whole I planned, youth shows but half; Trust God: See all, nor be afraid!”― Robert Browning
John 5:24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life."
So very sorry for your loss. My parents both died a year ago and I’ve learned that no matter how much you expect it, it still hits hard. Be kind to yourself.
I’m so sorry to hear this. My mother also passed last month at 92. She had light dementia, was nearly blind but actually passed from an aneurysm. Please accept my sympathy and I hope your sorrow is lessened by the your good memories of her.
Very sorry for your loss. Kudos to you for using your platform here to highlight this important and worthy cause, even as you deal with your personal sorrow. I’m sure your mother would be proud.
My condolences. The first year is bad, because you remember everything from the previous year. The second year is harder, there are no memories of events you shared with the person.
