Based on the last three or four times I’ve had to shop for underwear, you can buy boxers anywhere. But if you never made the transition from proper briefs, you’re going to have to special-order them on the web.

Sorry, but this is highly inappropriate for a Sunday comic, when most kids are reading them. “Hey mom, what’s a manscape?” “Oh dear, that’s when a man shaves his pubic hair.” “What’s pubic hair?” “the hair just above a man’s ding dong.”

The body length in those BVDs you showed looked like they coukd bevuseful for my hubby who has a long torso, so i found some others in his size and ordered them. Just do not expect me to explain why: “well, TJ advised Brad to try commando, then Brd sent a photo of BVDs, the body length looked good, and…”

If all the characters some people here gripe about were removed who would be left? Nancy, Ox… Anyone else?

I was trying to find something to say about these set of panels. It’s nice to have the little jump into Brad and Toni, but I want to see Toni again, and I think we will soon. At some point their arc will get featured, but it’s nice to see Brad and his BFF TJ. Of course TJ will say something funny and edgy, and as usual Brad knows, affectionately, exactly how to react. So many people comment negatively about TJ, and I think that is unfair to him. He is cast a bit as a con-artist, and he does seem to play the edges, but he does a lot of good things, and has talent and ability, and these two have been close friends since they were drawn. Brad is a regular guy for sure, so why is it so surprising that his best buddy is a bit different, sort of the “Eddie Haskell” of comics for those who remember Leave it to Beaver? This was a nice relief though from all the comedic tension in the Gunther, Bernice, Tiffany, Piro arc.

Obviously Toni has never seen Brad’s underwear. Odd that 2 mid 20’s engaged people would not have sex with each other.

I can’t believe this, Brad. Surely this is just Greg trying to uncover a gag. It never occurred to me that Brad, much less Toni, who had another relationship, bad as it was, was still a virgin.

Some are assuming WAY too much!Nowhere does it state or imply that Toni has never seen Brad’s undies. Brad is simply saying that, as a to-be-newly-married man, he will have to likely replace much if not most of his former briefs or boxers. Like many of us, he probably paid very little attention to the subject in the past, and undoubtedly has some ready to be used as oil rags when he works on the cars.

additionally, there are plenty of ways for a guy to remove said undergarments without his “significant other” catching sight of them. But it’s harder to keep them hidden once married and sharing laundry.

Either way, it’s time for Brad to trade in the Underoos.

Brad, if you want to know what your lady likes, ask HER.For those who go commando, don’t you also have to shave your privates, or else you’ll get hair caught in the zipper of your jeans?

Oh, I commented in a snarky way someone who asked whether TJ is gay. Other than the fact I can’t remember him ever having a female interest there is no evidence that he is gay. This kind of speculation has so many layers. Sort of like people wondering if a light-skinned person is Black, or maybe some other variation of non-White. To heavy for Luannverse. Anyway, what I really wanted to comment on was manscaping, which I believe is shaving body hair (can’t say the p word in Luann blog). I would think that is a vanity thing, and as someone points out competition swimmers to it all the time anyway. Personally it makes me itch to think about it (lol).

I never figured out when the bare chested look became the norm. When i was a kid men wished for a hairy chest and women did not complain at all about them. Of course, i am someone who has never minded hirsuteness, and often have appreciated it. Younger women are used to different looks than an old fart like me, of course.

and when Brad gets married, all the more reason to keep a male “best friend” around to complain to about the ol’ “ball and chain” ;-), or to just do “guy” things with.
