Unauthorized parties. Any event in the common room as the venue requires proper authorization from the Residence Life or the building’s Residence Coordinator. Had Bernice gone in, she’d see the beer and other vices and know there’s a party going on. She’ll report it. Wise decision, Tiff. Detour Bernice to your room. Let’s find out what she wants with you.

Tiff is basically saying that she and Bernice aren’t close or even talk to each other. She’s trying to look “cool and a rebel” in front of the others.

I’m eager to go to Tiff’s room! WHO are her roommates??

What’s an epic New Year’s Pudding battle? Contraptions that involve popsicle sticks, rubber bands and spoons to fling a spoonful of pudding at each other?

We are in The Sargasso Sea of normalcy. Dull days ahead.

So she’s giving away her jelly bean earnings by flicking one into Hair’s mouth? What are the chances that her aim is true (since his eyes are closed, and he won’t be trying too hard to catch it) versus the jellybean landing on the floor and picking up a few dust bunnies or hairs? No problem! Blow on it and use it for the NEXT jellybean poker game. Who’d know?

Poor Tiff. she is such a beginner at this sort of life, having come from where she did. If her roomies are anything like those 2 dingos, she will find herself in more than 1 hot seat..

And the suspense BUILDS.

And once again, Tiffany seems poised to “deny” her so called “friend” Berniceafter declaring to Hair last year that she was her pal. Now LOOK. Tiff is quickly getting Bern into the new dorm room where no one can see them talking.

It’s not even February. Yet old friendships appear to be in grave danger of shattering, all over the Strip.

But the question remains: Are the “New” friends truly WORTH it?

PS: Viper is looking considerably better. I wonder how she’d look wearing a long black “weave?” :)

For someone who could manipulate a fly in high school, she really is out of her league in college.

Face it, Bernice is a wet blanket who would’ve sucked all the fun out of that room. Tiff was right to keep her away from Hair and the other girl. Bernice doesn’t believe in having fun.

Greg Evans’s idea of a wild college party? Musical chairs and pin the tail on the donkey.

I’d like to know how it is that the cleaning staff didn’t report the pudding battle, unless they cleaned it all up before anybody found out.

Having fun is allowed, and I don’t see any true party paraphernalia beyond a lot of candy.

I suppose Greg is still fleshing out the new Tiffany’s character for us. Although this Tiffany’s behavior (if not looks) appears much akin to the old Tiffany.

What happened to the buckle down, make my way, mogul in the making, Tiffany? How did she do (is she doing) in her econ class? Will Bern be her new mentor or just more R.A. trouble? Is it back to misery time for Tiff? Will Tiff become Tara-lite? I need coffee. :o(

We used to play poker in the hall. Sometimes for real money. Beer, too. And I was an SA. Must have been a more enlightened school.

This makes no sense. What is Tiff hiding?

Tiffany has truly become part of the campus community♡. Let’s hope this does not irreparably compromise her grades. But looking at how well she manages her friend R.A. it makes me hope that she will be able to excel. Now, what will Bernice tell her? Something about her roommate or something about Piro?

Wait for it, waaaait for it. Not yet do we know or have any idea of what Bernie has for Tiff.

Much as I have come to like the Tiffany character, I do not see much good coming from this particular arc.

One, it features total regression of the Tiffany character, totally reinforcing all of her negative qualities from High School (or was it Junior High).

Two, even worse, if as some have speculated, this is an attempt to get “intel” from Tiffany on Gunther’s “sex life,” then today may well be the high point of the entire arc.

It’s all downhill from here, folks!

And we still have no idea how she’s doing in class. In addition, it now appears she no longer cares!

I like the featuring of Hair and Viper. Very nice. I like that Tiffany is enjoying her friendship with them.

Bernice’s pronouncement to talk with Tiffany….. I am still kind of wondering if it will be about either a) Tiffany’s new roommate…. or (less likely) b) perhaps about the Luann initiated rumor about Gunther and Bets?

I tend to think the R.A. Write-Up of the “Party Zone” worry is more of a red herring here.

Not all “wild” campus life involves drinking, drugs, etc. some of it is more just flaunting the rules such as the Pudding fight. One tradition at my college was to catch the RA gone and soap up the hallway until it was nice and slick and then slide and play until the wee hours! Fun and definitely a safety hazard someone like Berniece would not like at all. Another thing we did was “borrow” trays out of the cafeteria and use them to go sliding down the nearby hill when it snowed. Another rule breaking event but innocent fun. I think Tiff just wants to be a part of things and not let it be known that she’s friends with R. A. Berniece. She may or may not be a real partier at this point but right now it just seems like she has some newfound fun friends. If they find out she’s friends with strict rulekeeper Berniece they may not want to hang around with her.

Not realistic. Where’s the booze?…

Good thing Bernice has that “find a phone” on Tiffany so she knew she was in the common room.

One thing I’ve noticed about Hair that I found really strange: He’s the only character in the entire strip that wears the same exact clothing whenever he happens to appear. Every other character that has appeared has worn something different at least a few times. But not so with this fella. Does he have an entire closet stocked with the same exact black tee and jeans? I’m hoping he does because if he didn’t, that would be more than a little gross. Definitely wouldn’t want to be down wind of him, that’s for sure… ;-)

I remember our RA at college. He was like just don’t get caught. He also gave us some good tips. That is how not to get caught LOL

Pudding was only called the “Epic pudding battle”, no mention was made of food fight. For all we know it was a pudding eating contest. Just saying.

I don’t know if that’s gonna work. Bernice is the cynical, suspicious type. Guess we will see…

didn’t Tiffany take a class over the break, in order to be able to stay in the dorm? if so, I wonder how that went.

So, Classes were on Break & Parties were 24/7.

That so explains why they came back. And why they will vanish tomorrow.

More wild hijinks from the gang? Truth or Dare. “Truth.” “How often do you cut your toenails?” “Dare.” “I dare you to put on two more layers of clothes and walk slowly down the hall!”

Who has secret gambling parties that they want to keep secret in the common room?

Bernice has been helpful and nice to Tiff over the past few months; she and Dez (I believe) helped Tiff through some of the rough patches in seeking a path in life and to be more independent. I hope she thinks about that before badmouthing Bern to other students.

Tiffany, you came to far to slide back into your old ways. You need to learn about being honest.

Protect the defenseless.

So when do we meet the “new girl”? Tomorrow? Will she & Tiff be instant enemies, or friends?
