Whoops! Hoooo boy, Tiff, you let that slip out! Hilarity will surely ensue!

Mum’s the word, Gunth. (I just that noticed in Sunday’s strip, the first panel show’s the “Luann” strip in the newspaper from which Mr. Degroot was reading and about which he was rambling.)

Bernice just heard You yell out the word “NO” in front of the door to the Study Ball ! Someone will investigate! Maybe Bets?

If it’s no big deal, why are you yelling? ✨

Okay. This is going nowhere, and it’s going there fast!

Not a party! It’ll be really tame and wholesome, and there’s a pretty decent chance we won’t even see how it looks!

“You’re all fancy.” Geez, Gunther…you sound like they plucked you out of 40’s film fest.

If there was EVER a time that Tiffany truly NEEDED an unwelcome phone call from one Ann Eiffel, NOW is the time!

It’s been long overdue and Tiffany needs another good HARD “slap in the face” reminder of what she’s fighting for. And going to the party ain’t gonna help.

But two things seem clear: Tiffany still trusts Gunther enough to tell him the truth, and Gunther seems to hold Tiffany blameless for spreading that gossip about him and Bets awhile back.

Now let’s hope Bets stick her head out the door in time to see Tiffany with her hand on Gunny’s check…….., :)

If Bets comes out the door right now to investigate, she isn’t going to like what she sees.

Today is National Nap Day. Wonder why Greg isn’t acknowledging that.

Tiffany is trying circumvent the word “party” using euphemisms in an attempt to mislead a friend who cares about her. Tiffany should regret doing that.

No one at the “secret” party is expecting Tiffany to show up, and would lose her status as a “Hall A gang” hero by Hair & Stefanie.Tiffany should inform Kip that she has no $$$$.

Whoa! Gunther’S shirt morphed from green to brown in the last panel. Tiff’s outburst must have scared him! Tiff, you’re fibbing. You’re going to the party because Kip invited you and you’re thinking he’s interested in you. Stef invited you too and you turned her down. It’s Kip you’re going to the party for. I have the feeling she’s gonna be disappointed and regret going.

Ms. Eiffel would be very pleased to see what you’re doing Tiffany. It would offer her yet another excuse to permanently kick you to the curb!

In frame 3 – Tiff has got her old hottie self back…

Tiffany spent her free time during Winter Break partying with Hall A gang instead of studying like Bernice did. Tiffany graduated from High School and was accepted into Moony University. Unless she hired someone to do her School work, she should know to Study. Tiffany is normally undisciplined and unfocused narcissistic person unless she is challenged by her Daddy’s grifter or anyone who gets in her way. Her life is a rollercoaster ride.

Hey Tiff, just a thought but if you don’t want bernice finding out about the party. Don’t respond to a question with an alarming response.

This might be a testy situation for Tiff. If Bets comes out while she has her hands on Gunther’s face, there might be hell for her – trying to steal Bet’s man (that is how Bets might interpret it). If she goes to the Blackout party and somehow she gets in a compromising situation with Kip, Stef will be all over her like flies on dung.

She must have hit him so hard that he pooped himself. And it must have come out of his shirt instead. How else can you explain the shirt going from blue to brown! :)

Nonchalantly, Tiffany justified

“Keep secrets for me, Gunther.” Ick.

Well, “Stanley look what you got me into now” or something thereabouts from Laurel and Hardy (is a shame Gen Z, or Millennials don’t know about some of these funny teams from the past, I like to find excuses to show them in my classes, and they do laugh once they figure it out-:) is what this situation reminds me of. Cascading Lego blocks. Tiffany tells her friend Gunther, whom of course she trusts, putting herself in a position of revealing what her new “friends” might be doing, if her other old friend Bernice finds out. The hammer would go down for sure embarassing Tiffany. Not to speak what might happen if Bets comes out and sees Tiffany’s hands on Gunther’s face. It might not be pretty. I appreciate those here who noticed that Tiffany had no books, and kept the party dress on. Tells me that the little devil Tiffany had won, and the angel Tiffany was fighting a lost battle. As I advocate Luannverse will somehow come to the rescue, and I think the angel Tiffany can kick the devil one, but we will see.

I really hope Tiffany stays talking at the door and then Bets and Bernice appear one after the other. So she will be forced to go to study. Or, at least, that she will have a long discussion with Gunther that makes her think about what she really wants.

Gunther’s shirt changed color!!

I guess she hasn’t grown up at all. thats a shame, I had hoped she had used the last few events to grow.

To a certain extent, Tiffany is right about some play. I was crazy focused all the way through college and graduate school. I really should have spent some time learning to throw a Frisbee in front of a dorm. I lacked that skill and had to teach myself after I became a human toss entertainment system for a golden retriever.

SHERIFF MORDECAI, the colorist, got too generous with Gunther’s hair color in panel 4.

Maybe it’s because “Gun” (ugh!) is back to wearing Gunther-like flannel shirts. He’s been noted for being a less nerdy dresser since Bets came on the scene.

Looks like both Tiff and her “not a party” party are going to be busted!

If Tiff has a mind of her own, she should be allowed to choose to party. If study balls and guilt are the best the school and Bernice can offer, yeah, I’d ditch Bern’s party too. I’m guessing Bets may post about the actually party, and that’s where trouble will start. Actually would like to see Tiff stay clean on this and let Bets and her phone do it’s own damage.

Think of how awful Bernice must be to deal with, where you can’t even let her hear that you’re chilling out with people for fear that she’ll drop everything and come investigate. She’s a professional killjoy.

What kinda dorm are we talkin about here? Did I miss something? Like maybe a time machine and every one got transported back to 1952?

So much for the Hall-A-Gang’s Most Secret Party. Will our little angel-devil imps now appear on Gunther’s shoulders? Or will they be a little Bets and a little Tiffany… and which will be sporting horns? Maybe both?

people who justify actions because they think they “deserve” something are misguided (the way I see it), as if something is owed to you because you have tried even though your efforts have yielded no fruit. Often these persons spend $ they don’t have; in their mind they “deserve” it. Probably they are not achievers in life; they are too busy looking for a reward.

Somehow, I knew she was gonna go this route.

Tiff didn’t have any intention of going to the study ball – she didn’t bring any books or a laptop to study.

Where does Gunther shop for his colour-changing shirts?

I like the fact that Tiffany was still going to that party despite what that new stuck up roommate says!

Tiffany was supposed to keep Bernice from finding out about the party, because Bets tis in charge of the dorm, and could put a stop to it. The party must be against the rules. Perhaps the party people could get in trouble, including Tiffany’s roommate and her boyfriend.

I meant to say Bernice is in charge of the dorm, as the RA.

Tiff is so worried about protecting this party which is a bunch of people who are just using her. Hopefully she will find this out soon.

Tiffany was all dressed up and left the books in her dormitory room that she shares with Kip’s Girlfriend. But in the 9th inn of fate , Gunther appears to save the day. Will Tiffany fight her destiny with books or burn your books ?
