We’re all too used to accepting terms and conditions we’ve never read…but Luann’s father is doing her the courtesy of letting her know up front, probably in clear and concise phrasing, what he expects to be able to lend her the money.
I once asked my dad for a small loan, and he wanted to set conditions that were much stricter than any bank would ever think of setting. I told him to forget it and went and got a loan from the bank with no problem.
If he was that old it would have been $150 pre Bidenflation. And get off his lawn, lowly unworthies. (Bet you really miss Ann❤️Eiffel now, boy howdy >:) )
cliff hangers are worse on sunday because they are never resolved. we’ll never get to see Frank’s ultimate response to Luann asking for cash and simultaneously being cocky and rude.
Luann can say she tried. I think she really enjoys seeing her father’s reactions to her jokes and I think Frank, deep down, also enjoys them because father and daughter have the same kind of sense of humor.
I get the feeling Frank and Luann have gone through this drill before, and Luann is just trying to streamline the process. That being said, Luann may have just cost herself that $50 loan with her thoughtless remark. Why hasn’t she found another job?

Luann.. wait and let Frank spell out all the conditions.
Has any one seen Mordock around? I haven’t seen him on here in about a week.

The story line here is that practically no one reads the terms and conditions. They just hit yes or accept and move on.
