If you kick it before you step on the scale, it will really show a low number.

Note that Wiley has correctly drawn the toilet paper going over the top of the roll.

Wiley doesn’t have a very good grasp of toilet flush handle concepts. Toilet tanks always fill to more than half capacity. The position of his flush handle would leak like crazy. Maybe that’s why there’s a bucket just below the handle.

You used to see scales like that all the time. I wonder why, with people being more weight conscious these days, there aren’t more/any out there?

They own a tall scale because no way he could see past the south forty to read the numbers on a foot-square floor model. Next question is, who is going to be able to get him up when he hits the tiles?

Actually, that’s the only thing that I regret in my life—that I didn’t take some sort of defense arts. Boy, the people who wouldn’t have bothered me. . .

How do we know that toilet paper is “supposed” to unroll over the top? Because the 1857 patent drawing shows it that way. Invented by American – Joseph Gayetty.

Ever try to get a strip when you are in a standing position if the TP unrolls under the bottom?

A cat in the house will dictate whether or not the t.p. rolls over the top or not. Once a cat discovers that it can unroll the t.p. you can’t break the habit. There is nothing like an urgent visit to the toilet and finding the entire roll in a pile on the floor with claw marks on every sheet.

Whichever way you hang the toilet roll, if someone or something wants to unravel it, it will happen.

OT but a notice to all-please read your credit card statements and phone bills. Some players are very sneaky. Got a credit card bill today. I check every line and discovered a company I never heard of billing me $1. This has happened to me but with my phone bill. When I was with ATT about 4 years ago, so perhaps some phone companies do not allow it. What happened was that a company got my phone number and got ATT to bill me $1 a month. Took me a few months to see this-I never bothered to do a line by line check and ensure that I was only paying for what I wanted-A buck a month. Lets say they do the same to all computer users. That could easily get them several hundred thousand every month. Because seriously, how many of us actually do a line by line check of credit card statements? How about Debit cards? do you match everything to make sure you purchased it and not someone who got your debit card info?

I have two scales. When I need to lose a couple pounds, I just use the other one… though at some point I’ll have to gain it back in order to use that technique the next time.
