Muriel probably let the dog doodle on the guy because he reminded her of Tricky Dicky, another beloved ex-president.

Someplace, someplace, I have a photo of a fully robed member of the clergy blessing the animals on St. Francis’ day (usually the first Sunday in October), with a dog lifting his leg on the back of the man’s alb.

It’s one of these Mysteries that we will either Never understand or that would Drive Us Mad if we did.

I had felt disgusted upon seeing this cartoon after finding it to had been a depiction of urine being left by a dog and certain trails of urine left behind either by the same dog and by more than one dog and had felt there was no need to remind folks like my self of such parts of reality for this series of cartoons (it did not change my love for the series, though).

You’ve never met my dog. He could do it.
