Yesterday I didn’t know why Jack said Dumay. I thought he meant dummy but it is just his version of Danae.

I think I am going to like this branch of the story even more than Joe’s “rescue trip”.

We do know that folks who pay close attention to things that most of us ignore (or just don’t notice) can have remarkable insights. But they are often also the people who don’t see an upside for trying to elucidate those insights to others.

That’s a nice train of thought in the third and fourth panels. My own train of thought is more like an engine and a caboose.

Medically he may look like he is on the spectrum, but if is he psychic, that may also explain a few things.

That’s just like my mind.

Lately I feel as if my “train” has never left the station. If it did, it might derail anyway!

My mind is like my cat. It goes out at night and comes back worse for the wear. I don’t want to know where it’s been.

Sort of reminds me of Nebish. We could be entering a whole new zone of fantasy. Cool, that.

Jack pronounced her name as “Dumay”, the child is perceptive in many ways.

I always thought Jeremy was a little on the spectrum, Jack just seems to be a little further out there.

I transport special needs children, and they are pretty mystical and fantastic.

Dodes’ka-den

I’ve never heard of the autism spectrum including psychic abilities, but it doesn’t surprise me.

I know a lot of people on the Spectrum and they usually only think of themselves. They are not concerned about other people’s issues.

It makes a good story line, but it’s dangerous to think all autistic kids are hidden geniuses with super powers. It is not dangerous to be reminded that they are people, with varied levels of intelligence. They have a harder thing with some of the social stuff than others.

The people you have to watch out for, that are not on Jack’s spectrum, are the people that can’t tell the difference between developing a relationship and manipulating a relationship.

It is so rare that this particular comment section is so civil and humane. Nice to see.

The kid is psychic and unappreciated.

Wiley, thanks for being respectful towards those of us on the spectrum. Jack is honestly the first fictional character with ASD I’ve seen that is even close to the reality. Although I wish I had his gift for insight.

It took me a minute to realize that he’s mispronouncing Danae as Dumay.

It’s not the Autism Spectrum he’s on, it’s the Cassandra Spectrum.
