Which edition of the rule book. I have an official copy dated 2503.23 enacted by the rules committee at the event horizon of Sagittarius A. Time travel forwards or backwards may only occur either side of the event horizon when the square root of minus 1 is a real integer.
Great….Sir Isaac is missing his apple…Jeffrey (not Sir Isaac) gets bonked on the head and we never discover gravity…The timeline has been altered…Why has my city disappeared????
Everyone knows, the power needed to move through the continuum, are absurdly high. Better use of resources to go down to your favorite pond and count Dragonflies.
Does the rulebook mean that he must first return the apple to the proper place in space and time before continuing the pursuit? That sounds like the only reason for an "Historical Significance " rule.
The game can never end unless there is an End Game Exit Clause. It will always be possible to get an object of historical significance and time is relative to Frame of Reference. Easiest way out is to set a Proper Time Limit, based on an agreed upon FoR, to make a successful tag.
If anyone should come across a blue and silver sonic screwdriver, could you please hold onto it and drop me a P.M.? Little bugger fell out of my pocket the other day, when the Daleks were after us.
I wonder if Wiley notices, when we have so much fun with his strips?
On a sad note, I’ve been diagnosed with Shakespearean Tourettes Syndrome and I … ‘’Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more’’ … terribly sorry about that. Must be strong. Arrrgh!
What is the point of ’’being’’, if you can’t be silly, once in a while? (In my case, far too often. I am a very silly Panda.)

Yes, the rule book they’ll invent in a few years and then bring back to the beginning of time. That will make it the de facto rules.

I’m not sure you can win a Relativistic Game with a Newtonian apple without using the Quantum Gravity Rule Book.

I’m with you, Danae, the universe seems to make up its own rules as it goes along.

“Rule book”: two four-letter words Danae will NEVER understand.

I have one question: if scientists talk about space-time, why do they tell us the big bang happened (past tense) 14 billion years AGO?
If space-time is space-time then the big bang IS.

Aw come on, we don’t need no stinking rules.

Okay, I’m sure a wheezy blue police box or perhaps Capt Jack Harkness will show up any minute and chastise them both.

Hawkeye “Look, I got a full house. All you’ve got is a lousy pair of checkers. Plus the fact that my ten of hearts has your bishop ready to convert.”

BJ: “What rules?”
P: “Ah. Now it makes sense.”
