Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
When the world gives you lemons, you have some positive options. When the world breaks your arm by busting a durian fruit on it… maybe it’s okay to just hunker and endure.
Confusion will be my epitaph/As I crawl a cracked and broken path/If we make it, we can all sit back and laugh/But I fear, tomorrow, I’ll be crying/Yes, I fear, tomorrow, I’ll be crying/Yes, I fear, tomorrow, I’ll be crying/
I’m old, getting older faster. Constant pain in several areas, don’t think there’s a single body part or system that is working right. But I’ve come up with a catchy, thought-provoking response to the inane “How are you doing?” greeting. “Worse than yesterday, but better than tomorrow.”
Today is already great. I expect tomorrow to be no less so. In fact it will be better, because my comics will be better – PBS can’t get lazier that this one.

The rule is jam every other day. So you get none today. Today isn’t any other day, you know.
[To paraphrase the Red Queen’s admonition to Alice.]

We’ve run out of time, panel, so I’m going to flip all the cards. Arlene, your guess was very close. Mr. Rat is a professional Malcontent.
[Paraphrasing John Charles Daly.]

Under different circumstances, Rat’s attitude might be called pessimistic, but given our current situation, I’d call him a realist.
