Apparently, he never met Rat.

Rat is not the social type…

Better avoid harbinger of plague eh.

If people don’t appreciate me for who I am, why would I not want them to avoid me?

I yam what I yam! As Popeye would say!

My wife looked at me and laughed a little too hard at this.

Changes to Rat’s personality? Dream on. But he seems to have friend in Goat.

Rat wouldn’t want to meet the sort of people who avoid him.

Rat has all the personality of a…rat.

Actor Christopher Walken once said, “I’m better off not socializing. I make a better impression if I’m not around.”

I have to disagree with Goat on this one. Avoiding people is not always a bad thing.

Rat loves being horrible and he wants to stay horrible for as long as he lives.

Rat is my spirit animal.

Rat loves his bad attitude and personality and being selfish. Avoid him for the sake of your own emotional, mental and physical wellbeing.

Rat staying home and avoiding people and people being able to avoid him – It’s a win-win situation.

Why does Rat’s line in the third panel seem so relatable?

If only the people who haven’t met me yet would stay away…..

Folks, why don’t we stick to Rat and his personality.

A rat is a rat is a rat! Holed up and hiding from society!

You have to know your limitations and Rat know his which is his personality. Avoid social contact as much as possible is obviously his strategy for success.

Some of us like being avoided! (Saves the trouble of avoiding them yourself…)

A top source of entertainment in our many slums is watching the many ways rats make love.
