the forward progression of events moves similarly to a pointed shaft launched by a taught string affixed to a flexible rod, however it is contrasted by the affinity drosophelia maintain for the yellow fruit of the Musa genera
Unless Earl is going to help with a reenactment of one of the plagues, he better change into a different pair of shoes before they go to church this morning.
I still have a pair of leather penny loafers. They’ve been resoled and re heeled several times. Love the way they fit – sorta caress the feet. And, I have a dried up can of Kiwi polish with an actual shoe brush. I hafta add a little water to the polish before use. I don’t wear them much any more but always get compliments when I do (mostly from older guys, of course).
For my early ’60s ROTC, I tried Amway clear spray on my combat boots. Way better than endless spit and polish. But it built up and had to be removed once in a while. I now use them as work boots … indestructible.
For shine and cleaning shoes, you can also use olive oil, coconut oil, or Vaseline. Yep, it does make them look almost brand new again. No fruit flies, either.

Is using a banana peel as shoe polish real ? I’ve never heard that before.

Next, Opal will use perfume that smells like flowers and then go outside near bees.

Fruit flies? That banana is well aged. Best used for shining shoes than eating.

Real men just spit on their shoes to shine them, Earl ! What did you learn in your cow-boy phase?
PraiseofFolly over 1 year ago
In his younger years, Earl smoked banana peels. That would explain a lot of things.

My father was in the army in WWII. He taught me that trick. I guess they learned it in basic training back then.
