You know what’s more disgusting than finding a worm in the apple you’re eating, right?

I thought God forbade apple tasting.

My sis and new husband were driving across Canada. They bought a wooden box of cherries and on the prairies they snacked. Half way through, you guessed it, they found a worm. They pulled over, opened all the cherries: there was a worm in each one.They checked into the nearest cheap motel and downed a half a bottle of rye each. It probably wasn’t as deadly to the worms as stomach acid, but they forgot to imagine they could feel them crawling inside.PS Cool saying.

No, the FDA is suppose to do that.

It’s better to find an occasional worm than to eat poison that might have been sprayed in the apple orchard. “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” But not if you forget to wash it.

I always cut mine and core them, just in case I run into one. Never yet but there is always going to be a first time.

Since the application of heavy levels of pesticides to orchards we’ve largely done away with find worms in apples… And we avoid thinking of what’s on the apples now.

This is no joke. The average person ingests 6 spiders per year in their sleep.

Finally , the lovable Roscoe is in todays cartoon and he makes it Soooo nice : )

I can’t remember EVER seeing a worm in an apple.

FWIW, I am an old geezer who has eaten many apples over the years (both store bought and fresh off the tree). Never once in all that time have I ever found a worm or any sort of creature in an apple. According to comic strips however, this seems to happen quite often so it seems like I’ve been missing out.
