Oh, you made me tear up for my little Persia (in my avatar). She died last June and she was the sweetest kitty ever. Miss her lots. Her friend Mocha is truly here by me, requesting treats. Loudly. :-x)

So touching and so sweet and true, Graham. Happy Valentine’s Day to Graham, his family, to Annie and the cats, and to all my fellow Graham crackers.

Apologies to Graham Harrop: A puppy dog who’s gone away is missed upon this sad, sweet day. So know my heart is tender where you made your mark and left it there. And tho’ another begs a treat and sits so close beside my feet, there’ll never be another who was ever so and just like you.

I recently lost my beautiful, sweet kitty boy Zeke, and when I read this little poem, l totally lost it. I take it as a tribute to him. I miss him beyond words.

My dear sweet Cheetah Motu died in my arms on Saturday. He slept curled up in my arms at night under the covers. I miss him so much. The other 5 kitties do too.

So many special ones, gone but never forgotten: Timon, Cass, Bear, Babe, Big Man, Bub, Fuzzy, Tuffy, Simon…..all loved and all missed.

Beautiful poem. Quite poignant and sad, but still beautiful. On another note, saw five chickadees, two wrens, and a raven while out walking today.
