His favorite role, however, was as a cresting foamy wave pounding unto her lonely beach. Hence, he made numerous paintings of such scenes that many found strangely sensual — even erotic. (—

So… a nude painting?

It’s actually an ordinary piece of drywall painted to look it’s made of stone and wood. Even the girl is a part of the painting. Just like artists today paint pavement with chalk to create their illusions.

Jane, quite bored during their “nightly activity”, remembered that spot she noticed that needed a dab of paint.

I should have been more specific when I asked her to help paint the house.

I can understand not wanting to get paint on your clothing, but isn’t that carrying things a bit too far? That’s why they have smock tops. (That’s what we had in kindergarten.)
