Nothing to worry about, she hasn’t aged in years.

When I was growing up in the 1950s, nose rings were put in bull noses and boar’s noses. Boars were male pigs. The purpose the rings was to kept them from rooting under woven wire fences.

Good thing her name isn’t Ernestine. She’d begetting one ringy dingy, two ringy dingy……

Not a good look.

Still mystified why beautiful young women do it. When seen in profile it usually looks like their noses are dripping.

Nose rings are ridiculous. Some people get rings in even more outrageous (and intimate) places. Ugh.

Every time I see one of those little septum rings that so many people wear, I can’t help thinking that from more than 3 feet away, it looks like a booger.

My favourite response to the idea of a nose ring was in the movie “Volcano”. The girl told the babysitter that she was getting a nose ring, and the babysitter sarcastically replied “Nice look… especially when you sneeze.”

She’ll probably get that too…don’t ask……

Wise words indeed and simply stated as always. Sadly they will fall on deaf ears…..

Whoever told those people that nose rings looked good, lied. Looks like snot dripping.

I don’t mind most piercings, but nose rings I find very UNattractive

Over 6000 years ago, documented by the Bible in Genesis, young ladies had their noses pierced. Among other places.

if you don’t have a hole or two in your head – how do you breath, drink and eat?

Though I don’t understand why people want tattoos or piercings (other than earrings)

Tattoos are the most nonsensical things! My daughters have some. I think they will, if they haven’t already, grow to regret them. I just got the posters or tee shirts.

I am used to seeing tattoos on women but I think body piercing can be taken to extremes and a nose ring is one of those, it detracts from a really beautiful face especially those between the nostrils (talking about boars), a stud on the nose is acceptable.

When I first started seeing eye brow piercings, I named them, come here’s. It just looked like a something that you would pull and say,“come here”. ☺️

I’d comment on the one worn by the Wicked actress, but I’d probably be called a racist or something. My question: how do you pick your nose if it’s pierced?
