In other news, some maga heads online have posted tiktoks of them expressing regret for voting for trump, now that the consequences have hurt them. They didn’t care about trans existence being erased or the genocide of Palestinians, but once the price of eggs didn’t go down, it became a problem.

One pro-trump farmer in particular posted a plea for help because the repeal of the inflation reduction act by trump hit his business. He got dunked on by commenters, then posted some response video about how “we need to come together to do something about this”. What I find mystifying is that a year ago our campuses and Liberal enclaves were cauldrons of protest about the murder of Palestinians and anger at Biden anhd Harris for continuing the U.S. policy of slavish devotion to Israel. No matter that the president and vice-P talked about Israel overreach and the need to stop the war, they were war criminals. All that durm und strang to protest one policy that can be argued was what brought Trump to power. But now, after Trump has joyfully suggested an ethnic cleansing of Gaza and America owning the area, not a peep. Talk about useful idiots. Sad that so many seem ready to simply give up without a word and capitulate to fascism. I suppose there are just too many fail vids, tiktok trends and such to watch to get active to save our open society and accountable government, however imperfect.
