Love Wallace’s cranky impatience. Love Mom’s straightforward answer to his first question and her WAY over the top snap-back to the second. Love the fish dress. Love the windowsill garden. Love the word “windowsill”. It’s just a pretty word. Love the steamy wisps in every panel. I can almost smell the pie. Love how all three are brought back to reality in the last panel. And who doesn’t love seagull?
