JJ missed an opportunity to draw the bra out of a sleeve without removing the shirt at all trick.

Yeah, they’ve been uncomfortable since I was 14. Pfft.

What was the holdup?

I prefer my lady bra-less.

I’m way more comfortable with a bra than having them lying on my chest. Get a properly fitted bra for goodness sake.

Why masks are like bras: they’re uncomfortable, when you get home you want to take it off, and when you don’t wear one, everyone notices!

There are comfortable bras for large breasted women without wires. They also cost about $100 each.

i look forward to the fall and winter seasons. that when the sweatshirts come out and the bras go back in the drawer.

At my age, anything above the waist is considered “perky”.

The Mrs and our daughters found a very good bra fitter in San Francisco several years ago. And although we no longer live in The City, they have taken her teachings and are able to find good fitting, supportive comfortable bras in our new locations. Thanks, Mrs B.

Wife and I call it “letting the cats out of the bag”, and I still find it fascinating to this day.

One of the first things a woman does when she gets home is take off her bra…if no one is looking. I swear that this torture device was invented by a man (it was actually invented by a woman).

I know what the western culture thinks, but nobody NEEDS a bra.

Agreed Janis. I’ve always found them to be uncomfortable and the first thing I’d like to take off if I could during the day.

Before I had breast cancer I was a D cup. Now I’m more a B-C from surgery but I still find bras uncomfortable to say the least. I’m just glad I still have the equipment to need one :-)

My Lady is 67 today, and looks better to me than when I met her. She insists it’s my 70 year old eyesight, but I know better. As The Hollies sang, ‘Just one look, that’s all it took…’, including this morning.

After coming home from shopping, Mom said “Take off your shoes and girdle and put the kettle on.”

And the reader said let the Saga begin.

Question I have had for years: If women complain about bras so much, and they were probably invented by a man, why hasn’t anybody come up with something better?

If you don’t want gravity to drag them down then exercise your chest muscles to pull them up. And don’t slump!

Fighting gravity is hard work!

One of the good points to staying home during the pandemic was – I did not wear a bra. (Then again, when I go out in normal times, bra is only worn while out of the house.)

Sweatshirt or jacket worn the few times we went out so no one knew that it was missing other than husband and myself. Even now other than when going out and not wearing a sweatshirt or jacket I am not wearing a bra – so wonderful not to.
