I could see getting up at the bu++crack of dawn to exercise if Wanda was using Darryl’s presence at home as an opportunity to go to the gym. But what’s the point of forcing him to suffer along with her at home?
I have been teaching yoga at 6am, twice a week for the past 15 years. I always look forward to January because my class is extra full with all of the people who’ve made resolutions to exercise. I love it, and wish it would stay that way, but alas, by March, I’m back to my regulars. ;)
You agreed to exercise, I wait until later. I know dad has to work.Question not related today’s strip. I know BB is new on GC, I checked with Arcamax off line, anyone else the same?
I thought they were going out in the cold dark winter morning to a gym! Daryl is whining and stalling about getting up a little earlier to do some home workout Wanda made up? He just lost my sympathy.

Keep the faith Darryl. That by tomorrow Wanda will give up on this nonsense.

When Darryl inevitably pulls a muscle, it will go from the crack of dawn to the ‘crack’ at dawn.

Perhaps, 5, 4. 3, 2, 1 The kids get up and it’s off to the races, especially chasing a toddler like Wren. Small in stature, but fast on the go.

Ha. The proper way to go about starting up new and healthy habits like exercise, is to do them at a time that is actually manageable.

I remember reading that “It takes 21 days to form a good habit, and 21 seconds to break it.” Boy ain’t that the truth.

Contrary to popular opinion, starting with exercise right after getting out of bed is not advisable.
