Hammie needs to lawyer up. A good case could be made that the worst he did was swallow a spitball. Yeah, he was going to blow it, but his conscience got the better of him and he swallowed it instead. That’s how I would spin it anyway.

Can we use the same punishments on you when you get in trouble, Zoe? Oh yeah right, Zoe doesn’t get in trouble. She rats on everyone else getting in trouble, especially Hammie.

I wonder if Zoe recalls the incident where she made an unbelievably foolish response to her mother, and ended up squashed in the corner so hard she looked like a stick figure.(A little of Zoe goes a long way. I’ve been reading my strip collections lately, and she comes across overall as a thoroughly unpleasant brat.)
