Attention Mega Orb! There are a few questions I have. First, does Georgia Dunn know about it and accept it? Second, how many people are in it? Third, does everyone have a job and are required to do it? I would greatly appreciate it if these were answered! Thank you!!
OMC, this is so sweet! Agatha hugging Puck. Puck asking for permission to smell Tabitha’s nose and respecting her refusal. Elvis’ big eyes and clinging to Puck.♥♥♥
Puck understanding and responding to Elvis’s statements is such a precious exchange. And Elvis’s huge eyes! Poor dear. He really stepped up to the plate and did what he needed to in spite of the fear. They are such good friends.
NOVEMBER CALENDAR QUESTIONS – Okay go flip your calendars over to November. Bask in the warm glow and good wishes. Wishing you and your cat servants a large open bag of cat kibble. Bask some more because this month’s illustration is just that heartwarming and has cranberry space goo! Also, I love seeing everyone in their cold weather sweaters – we even see Tabitha and Sir Figaro.
THEN – who is in the lower left corner of the upper illustration? That’s not Clucky Chicken, right? Who is that little creature and whose friend is it?
Ok, this is for dennywheller and shaunnmunn for a question from yesterday, and anyone else curious about my avatar. I haven’t found the jump drive. BUT after several minutes of searching online for the photo I did find the picture and it told me which carrier to then look for on NavSource to do this. http://www.navsource.org/archives/02/021518.jpg. I know when I originally found the picture it wasn’t on NavSource and it told if it was an F6F-3 or an F6F-5. But March 1945 my bet would be F6F-5
Oh Tabitha, let Puck smell your nose! He’s a sweetie! And I love how fragile, yet strong Elvis is – - he went far out of his comfort zone to save his friend, but still, he’s aware of his limitations and is not above asking his good friend for help. What a beautiful lesson! :-)
oh, i love allof this so much! agatha giving pucky ghostsnuggles and loves! pucky respecting tabitha’s boundaries! brave brave brave brave sir elvis, and pucky loving him and understanding his fears <3
At the “Litter”, Megan and Tre-C were enjoying Lattes and a light tuna snack, and watching some TV. The Cat News was back on the air, and Megan commented that Puck seemed to be in a particularly good mood. Tre-C added that Elvis looked like he’d just seen a ghost. “Seriously, Kitten, he always looks like that. For being a newscaster, he’s a pretty nervous cat.” Megan felt that she knew the boys at the news desk pretty well and, truth be told, she was a pretty fair judge of character. Then again, she also knew this was television, and TV and reality- like a science fiction cliché- can’t occupy the same place and time.
Beautiful Halloween Special Georgia!!! I really like this story, I think it shows a new side of Tabitha that I love. Also all the ghosts!! So creative.
Tabitha is one tough cat. “May I smell your nose?” “Absolutely not!” I really would not have expected any different answer from her. We need a little more back story for Agatha, the Golden Mouse. Good ole Pucky will have a wonderful story to tell and Elvis will need a warm blanket and quiet for the rest of the day.
Good morning and happy Thursday/Purrsday, orbsters and orbabies. There is so much detail to love about today’s strip: Agatha hugging Puck in the first panel and being an ornament on Tillie’s had in the last panel; Elvis, all scared eyes, admitting his fear to his friend; and Tabitha’s politely firm refusal to have her nose touched and Puck’s respecting that limit. I love that the ghosts will, presumably from their farewells, be making a comeback in the future.
I like how while most of the RCO cats are waving goodbye (for now!), Admiral Whiskers is saluting. It’s amazing how much personality (someone’s going to say “purrsonality”, aren’t they?) Georgia puts into even her secondary characters!
I wonder if all the RCO cats are based on real-life cats? Hope to see them again and learn more. Does anyone else think Admiral Whiskers would get on great with Lupin?
What a wonderful end to this adventure! Seeing Elvis being carried back down, makes me laugh and remember when Lupin,‘gently’, told Elvis, how he felt about his climbing skills!
Hello, all. I’m gonna try this one more time! I’ve left greetings and introductions before, but I don’t know if they go through b/c there’s never even a single “Like.” So either I’m not logged on, or I’m getting the coldest shoulder in the history of BCN, which really doesn’t seem like this group. So I’ll say—I love this comic; love the combo of art and text; adore these characters beyond the telling; and have awakened at 2am my time just to see what’s happened that day. So if this goes through—hi!
I’ve been a fan of BCN for the last couple of years. It is the best. Georgia, you have created such a kind and gentle world. I find it a nice escape. Thank You!
Great news – my sis is getting a new boss later today!
Her next door neighbor’s cousin’s MIL passed away recently & they’ve been looking for someone to adopt her 10yo black kitty, Onyx. The neighbor mentioned it to sis yesterday & sis said sure, she’d be happy to take her!
Sis has been missing Zoe, who went OTRB in August, & has been thinking about adopting another senior cat, even went to the local shelter a few times to look but hadn’t found the “right one” yet. Guess now we know why she was hesitating…
…So a black kitty gets a new home & sis gets a new friend, for Halloween yet! Sis says, “I feel like it’s Xmas!” AWSUMOSITY!
Ruh Roh! Since The Woman has already been up and seen guzzling coffee in a previous strip, will she have noticed that the cupboard dumbwaiter door has come open at the same time she noticed the guys are missing? And I don’t think we’ve seen Lupin since he said to Elvis, “I guess this is goodbye, then.” Since The Woman didn’t see any of the guys, could he be waiting inside the cupboard at the bottom of the dumbwaiter? Will the cupboard door get closed on them before they get out? Maybe this adventure isn’t quite over yet?
I don’t know if there are spirits around, but I sure hope so! Last year I was recovering from surgery, granted, I was on pain medication but I saw my momma and daddy sitting on the end of my bed. They sat there smiling at me, not speaking, just smiling lovingly at me. This happened 3 or 4 times during my recovery. I know in my heart they were there watching over me. As for pets, sometimes at night I feel footsteps walking over my bed stopping next to me. Nothing is there, but I believe it’s one of my kitties spending the night with me as they did in life. No medication involved! :D

Puck: Tillie, Agatha, how can I ever thank you?
Tillie: You being safe and sound is all the thanks we need! Now, get out of here, kid!
Puck: Tabitha, thank you. May I smell your nose?
Tabitha: You’re welcome. Absolutely not.
Puck: Totally cool with that.
Elvis: I was so scared.
Puck: I’d do anything for you too, Elvis.
Elvis: I’m glad you said that, because -
Puck: Yes, I’ll carry you back down.
’Til we meet again, Crackerjack!
Tillie: We’re never far from you!
