Well, at least she carefully fwumped the fuzzy blanket back down on Elvis. (Okay, maybe not so carefully, but his exposure to the cold air was, at least, brief.)

Leaving behind a lovely pre-warmed blanket for the cats to continue enjoying.

Her blanket looks like butterfly wings! Love Pucky’s majestic migration observation!!

Her untamed hair is a thing of beauty! I fear Elvis is not quite finished with his metamorphosis. I hope Lupin survived his unceremonious fwump! Goldie blends in so well with the fuzzy blanket that I almost missed seeing her. Puck’s reporting is spot on. David Attenborough would be so proud.

That’s how it goes, Elvis – you finally get into a perfect Zen Cat position, shut out the mundane while you contemplate and become one with the deeper meaning & power of the Infinite Purr…

Then get rudely and abruptly interrupted by a Human’s random and completely unnecessary activities!!!

I have seen Elvis’s reaction in multiple cats in my life. We don’t always want to get up, either, Elvis, but that whole “Responsible Adult” thing kinda insists. And the bladder. Can’t forget that.

But Elvis is cold! And did Lupin just go flying?

I think that FWUMP was Lupin getting dumped off.

Puck is clearly smitten. Elvis less so.

Can Puck get a white tattoo on his face with the number 372?

I was wrapped in a blanket and under a snoozing cat yesterday when the call of the bathroom became too much to ignore any longer. I tried to explain to said cat that he was more than welcome to stay on the warm blanket until I got back. He eyed me, sniffed and jumped off then deliberately turned his back to me while twitching his tail in an agitated manner meant to convey the degree of his upset.

Is Lupin being FWUMPed off the sofa as loud as Lupin belly THWUMPing off objects or down stairs? In other words, is Lupin landing always loud no matter the cause of the landing?

Cats are good at fwump. Typically off the table or counter though.

The, Fuzus Blanketus Pajamus, is now on it’s short journey to the water closet…perhaps… after the deed is done…a quick trip to the feeding grounds, will be rewarded with, pizza…

Poor Elvis, poor Lupin!

I’ve been taking lunchtime naps since I was in my 20s. At some places, I slept on the floor; others, in my car. Ten minutes for your brain and body to resynchronize makes the afternoon lots more fun.

Naps, I enjoy the falling asleep part but not the waking up part.

And woke up Elvis. Grumble, grumble.

So glad that Puck is not disappointed.

Make sure not to let Elvis see you for at least three hours.
