If bread tags are what I think they are, I’ve always called them plastic clips. I save my plastic clips in a small container and reuse them until they break.
I don’t like twisty ties, so whenever I buy bread that has a twisty tie, I discard it and replace it with a plastic clip.
Beatrixia: Alright, is everyone ready for going back to the Great Pyramid?
Puckmosis: We may just want to consult the one who built the wall in the first place.
Wally: You mean Great-Great-Great-Great Grandpappy?
Puckmosis: The very same. I understand he is at the palace getting ready for the Senior Cat Bridge Tournament.
At the palace gaming room
Awhil-Fixit the First: Hello there, Wally. What brings you here?
Wally: We’re going to explore the Great Pyramid, and wanted to know about the new wall, Great…Grandpappy.
Awhil: Yes my crew and I did a fine job on that wall. Even covered the doorway to the scroll room.
Wally: Do you remember where the room was?
Awhil: Let’s see. I remember we painted a hieroglyph of a Siamese reading a scroll where the entrance was. Now meet my Siamese bridge partner, Elvis-Anum. Elvis, ready to draw a card?
Elvis-Anum: Actually, I drew the whole deck with my paints.
Those costumes are fantastic. I hope we get to see Sophie’s costume design skills come into play more, as they did in the raccoon and wrestling arcs. She is positively dripping with creativity in the last panel. Thanks to the commenter above who explained what bread tags are, they would seem to make for small decorations, but I’m sure that obstacle is no match for Sophie’s artistry.
You know, the outside team of CN seems to be happier than the in-studio staff, sometimes.
Beatrix is always smiling, Trevor (honorary) is a smiling pile o’ puff, Tommy is always happy, and Sophie is happiest in expressing her art.
Elvis is often dour and moody, Lupin is manic with huge upswings and downswings in mood (Chaos); Puck is sweet and concerned, which interrupts his happy)..the happiest of the bunch is little Goldie ! and GOLDIE recently came in from OUTSIDE!
I wonder how Tommy and Sophie’s Woman feels about Sophie’s art using her yarn? Though she is pretty accepting of Sophie’s art, https://www.gocomics.com/breaking-cat-news/2016/05/30
OT: we have a couple of ladies who come in once a month and do a deep cleaning of our home. Today is the first time The Girl has been around to watch them in action (we usually have them come on a day when she is with her other grandparents). She was ecstatic to see everything getting clean, including her room (although I did make her pick up her toys before they went in there to make the bed and vacuum). She also got her start on being able to communicate with Tabitha and Sir Fig; she learned to say “me llamo [Girl]” and “Gracias.”

Carmela loves to decorate for all seasons, (I like it too) and Shadow loves to shove his favorite toy under the fridge.

Awwww. Beatrix has the paw not clutching the mike holding the edge of her kitten overalls. At least it looks that way to me.

There was a very cute video of Tommy yesterday on ‘FriendFace’. His Tommy Whiskertache page. He looked very snuggly.
