For a kitty who defended Iggy’s naps in the Christmas tree as part of his wild inheritance, I’m surprised at his stern insistence with Ora Zella who is, by nature, nocturnal. I guess this is all part of domestication.

Oh, I think the monster under the bed is more afraid of the tortie in the bed …

OraZuzu is about to meet another monster. Grumpy Papa! Elvis….Layin’ down the law! Full cuteness was deployed. Full cuteness was denied!

Chainsaws, btw, are a very effective monster deterrent. Every child should go to bed with one!

Elvis has eaten under-bed monsters before now. OZ is wasting her time invoking them.

OT: More sad figure skating news

Go to bed, Ora Zella, the “old” cats need their sleep! As I type this, Smudge is meatloafing on the back of the couch, while Imp, Thor and Mouse are sprawled on the bed. So much for making the bed.

Elvis is the right cat for this job! Sometimes Puck’s style helps, and sometimes what Elvis is doing is what is needed.

Has Ora Zella been taking lessons from Calvin or something?

Papa is easygoing. Father is not quite so understanding.
