Yesterday, when he pretended to be stunned that that recording had been erased, is when he pressed the record button again. Her ego then forced her to spout off to TJ. How she she had lied to corporate about how sales had increased. She, and she alone has fired up the pot that will burn her in her lies and deceit.

Mikey – after looking at your cartoon, it made me think about something. So I went back and looked at something in yesterday’s cartoon. In the center panel yesterday, TJ’s WW badge had disappeared.^^That sort of thing happens to all cartoonists, when you’re drawing the same basic thing time after time, it’s easy to forget details… in one comic I drew, I actually forgot to draw the lead character’s glasses, I was 12 panels into it when I noticed… so I turned it around and had her find out that her glasses were missing… until she stepped on them

Um, in most states, it’s illegal to tape record someone without their knowledge and permission…

Knowing TJ, he’s probably also got a backup of the recording that Ann deleted and somehow had something on his phone recording Ann deleting it.

Actually, I have noticed over the years that Greg would have things in the cartoon change, for example, the image or writing on someone’s tee shirt, a picture in the background would change from one panel to the next, Phelp’s counselor desk plaque would change, etc. Pretty clever on Greg’s part as by doing that, it makes it harder to tell if he is messing with us or if it was an accident.^^Hmmmm…. I should try that :p

The closer she gets, the more I remember TJ is terrified of 2 things: committment and women.

I think her looks causes him to be premature :^) He should have (stupidly) asked if he understood her right and got her to repeat the past issues as well as admitting to taking and tampering with his property. Of course, he has to be careful and not incriminate himself with coercion thus should back peddle and tell her he no longer wants her to resign as he wants to file claims of wrongful termination and employee harassment and unlawful detainment and alteration to employee owned property. Corporate would settle and she would be fired if they don’t decide to sue her to recoup the loss.

I’ve worked for Ann. Except she was a he. Satan incarnate, with all the morals and compassion of a honey badger, except that’s an insult to honey badgers. TJ has a lot of the same qualities, he’s a hustler and he looks out for Number One – but I sense he has somewhat of a moral compass, and if someone like him had been my boss in those days, I’d probably still be living overseas.

Why does Ann fall for the same trick twice? Because some people are so smarmy and cocksure that they cause you to disengage your logic and act on your emotions – kinda like road rage. And Ann is acting like she’s been rode hard and put away wet, as they used to describe a mistreated horse. and you sure can’t argue that TJ has been riding her hard – course we can’t tell if she’s been put away wet….

He is still backing all those up remotely, right?

Who hates TJ besides Lev, who is so vocal about it that he looks like many more posters than he is? Looks to me like a lot of people here enjoy TJ. I love him, myself!

Back in 1948, George Orwell worried about (and wrote in 1984) that Big Brother would place microphones and cameras everywhere, which would report to a totalitarian government on people’s actions. Instead, what we have today are millions of Little Brothers who report to the citizenry. The citizens then use these recordings to hold people and governments accountable for their actions. Orwell would be amazed!

why do so many people hate TJ? I think he is fabulous and maybe I should take lessons from him.Get real, 666. Go back to day one and read the strip. List all the decent things TJ has done. I found one item, and I was so shocked, I almost fainted. One time, he babysat Shannon. That is it. In almost 29 years, he has done one semi nice thing. Now, look at all the horrible things he has done, from setting a picnic table on fire to setting a house on fire, (I will admit the house was an accident, but still the place burned.) Knocking holes in the house and tearing out the foor were not accidents. Shoplifting, lying, selling Brad time shares to Iceland, stealing food, cheating firefighters, the list goes on and on. I do not count his scheme to get rid of Ann in the decent group. Like everything TJ does, he only has one goal, that is to bring harm or injury to someone else. He is good at his job.

am sure I talked about this before, but TJ could not carry a strip on his on. He is a two demensional character that has only one demension. Brad and Toni could do it, but that would be a pair, not a single person. Bernice is my favorite character, but as much as I like her, she is too closely tied to Luann to do it solo. Tiff is too shallow and Gunth is to withdrawn.
