Hark! Is another “storm of the century” approaching? I hope the carload of villains doesn’t attempt a “power approach”! Sparkle isn’t too keen on meeting Mysta!

So, B.B. Eyes, Double Up, Mumbles, Hy Pressure, The Monro Bros, Moon Maid, Dick Tracy and Sam Catchem all in one spot. This battle royal is going to be great!

@Neil Wick, I just read your comment from yesterday and I can’t argue with the death of Sparkle idea you threw out there. As a matter of fact I think it’s probably more feasible than the divorce theory (less messy). The thought had occurred to me too but I thought I’d be more conservative airing my divorce theory instead. and like I said, Vitamin never finished his sentence, so that might be a literary diversion tactic, who knows.

Dick Tracy reference over in Gasoline Alley this morning.

As Snoopy would write, “It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly, a shot rang out! …” But, seriously, a night thunderstorm as we see here is the perfect setting for a Frankenstein-like tale and I want to compliment Shane Fisher for truly outstanding colour on today’s strip.

It is a great day to be on Team Tracy indeed! CONGRATS to you all. We readers are all winners as well thanks to your wonderful work. Thanks again for the enjoyment.

The storm is both a fitting circumstance and an apt metaphor for what seems about to go down on the farm. Wheaton is cool, not very likable. If any of the assembled multitude have to buy the farm, so to speak, he is the most expendable in my book….

What a fantastic buildup strip, setting all our (important) characters in place. This is,m seriously, one of the finest Sunday strips I’ve ever seen. Congrats on that Harvey Award!

Today’s strip is fantastic! Love the cool exchange between Sparkle and Mysta in the final panel. Sparkle’s reaction makes me wonder — has she remembered the Sparkle Zap??

You said “A well urned win.”What did they do? Sift through someone’s ashes to get the award?Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Yesterday you took another poster to task for making a remark about a simple typo in a comment, but seriously, the word you were groping for was “earned”. Oh well, all in fun.

A few days ago, I noticed that there were storm clouds gathering, and rain starting to fall, over Diet Smith’s office complex. Nothing was said about it in the dialog, it was just in the art. That is very cool!

Bravo and enthusiastic congratulations on winning the Harvey Award! Hat’s off to the tremendous Team Tracy. Thanks so much for your creativity and industry. I award you my admiration, attention, respect and gratitude. What a thrill to be in Tracyville!

Things are already interesting between Sparkle and Mysta. Has Mysta really acquiesed in the battle for Junior, or will we be seeing more fireworks? Can’t wait to find out!4. The art has a real noir look which is exceptional.5. Is it possible to love this strip more than I do? I have an anxious feeling opening this page each day, knowing I will be delighted and wondering how. It’s the same feeling I had about Dick Tracy when I was younger. Thank you Curtis and Staton for restoring the thrill and excitement of the daily comic strip!

I can’t think of any syndicated comic strip that deserves the Harvey Award more. Congratulations to everyone who works on Dick Tracy. Keep up the good work.

I called it months ago – Here comes Mumbles! But instead of Ghote introducing the Mumbles clone, Mumbles may be exposing the Ghote clone!.Shootout at the OK Corral? Many of you have already noted that. Storm of the century again? And in less than two years? Perhaps the same summer in Tracy-time?.I’m just waiting for the rats to return and terrorize Dick Tracy!.I don’t really want any of the “stock” characters to die, not Sparkle or Mysta, especially. What about Junior? If he happens to get knocked off, that would be the opportunity for Mysta and Sparkle to agree on something….At his funeral, they could say, “The best husband we ever had!”

Gleeb, this is a family strip. You might have set the speed record for getting yourself ousted and banned. I’ll do my best to expedite it for you!

For what it’s worth, I flagged gleeb..I have been following this blog for over a year. We can be a disagreeable bunch, and some of in some of our disagreements, we have been less than civil..But dropping the “F” bomb is going a bit too far, in my opinion..Granted, his (or her) comment was extremely short, eight words max..But it could have been one word shorter.

Kudos to all the Tracy team for this award. You guys are the best! I enjoy this strip a ton, and I especially like Moon Maid!

Hmm, Sparkle seems a trifle…cold toward Mysta. I wonder if she’s gotten more of her memory back.

Could the storm have an added side effect of recharging Mysta? Yes, I know the strip has always said she recharges using the sun, but electricity in lightning=recharging electrical powers seems Captain Obvious here.

The panel with Doubleup and BB Eyes behind a rainwashed windshield almost seems like an actual snapshot.Very well-earned award by the writers/artists of this strip. Dick Tracy is truly back from the dead.

I think that Sparkle has figured out how she lost her memory. She knows that temporary memory loss is a side effect of a Moon Maid zap, and she must have put two and two together.

Time to come clean, Mysta.

Ray, everything you have said is true. I was just saying that an otherwise healthy person may have deduced how they have suffered amnesia in the absence of any trauma, medical or psychological cause.

That weather map looks like t-shirts I used to see at concerts. Wonderful art yet again, with Tracy, Sam and Junior in shadow, outside and inside the car traveling in the storm, and, of course, closing with the ladies doing their part to help the Wheatons. We’re treated to multiple locations as the threads of this absorbing tale begin to come together. Loving it! I wonder what book Mysta is reading (Portrait of the Lunarian as a Young Zapper, Mysta Becomes Electric, Zapper in the Rye). Mysta seems tentative but friendly, not certain just how much Sparkle remembers. Sparkle is cool and aloof. Is it because Mysta kept her identity a secret, pretending to be Mindy, or because she remembers the electric greeting? Is it simple jealousy? This great story just keeps getting better. The Harvey Award certainly went to the right strip.

Theres going to be a big crowd at the farm! I wonder if Dr. Mordred will show up? Almost time for MM/Mysta to send up the kites and get recharged! I hope nobody gets killed. My bet is that Hy Pressure is the most expendable.
