Wow, Alldid’s strip is even more popular than I thought. I see that moon mugs are very popular. This is Jynior’s place, but he has a whole collection of those mugs it seems. I wonder if that foreshadows anything.

What’s that shadow in the top right corner of panel 1? Is that a cast shadow from Junior’s hair or is it something else? (Maybe a plant in the window?)

Turning the comic into an animated series? That could involve Vitamin Flintheart or maybe Mysta, or a cameo by a real-life voice actor.

Tracy, you’re a victim of your own success.

Gosh, if something happened to Vera now, would Tracy become a suspect?

Moon mugs, hmmmm. Need to get me one of those….Hoping it’s a hint that Junior will mix it up with Mysta and the Moon people again.

I would have thought Tracy would have a thicker skin than to let something this trivial bother him.

It’ll end up like the 1960’s Dick Tracy series giving J. comical sidekicks :)

I wonder if Tracy could put a halt to that by claiming its infringing on his rights to control his own image (like Hollywood actors do)?

“Animated series” makes me think Vera could be a major character in the next story. Wonder where this is all headed?

I wonder who they will get to voice J. Straightedge Trustworthy in the animated series? I would vote for this guy.

With those lame gags? Kolossal must be on the skids…

Ugh. Maybe we’ll get “cops” like Go Go Gomez and Hemlock Holmes again………

tracy needs to lighten up

yumpinyiminey and Neil Wick: I’m one that hopes Junior and Mysta end up together again, too – regardless of how unrealistic those chances are at this moment….Or are they?.Sparkle has been bitten by the star bug before, most recently the singing radio program. Of course, there was the Miss Moon Maid look-alike contest long, long ago, that she won….I can’t help but think Alldid is back to claim someone whom he once lost. And it looks like he’s bringing Hollywood with him..All I ask, if it is Mike and Joe’s intent to reunite Junior with Mysta, is that we don’t resort to any more over-the-top death plots (like Mysta’s original, still possibly alleged, death by car bomb)..But, as for those coffee mugs, when I first saw them last night, I didn’t think “moon”; rather, I thought a generic Starbucks logo..And, speaking of mermaids, enough time has elapsed that I guess we can finally assume that the Nitrates have been deep sixed!

In all seriousness, though, I am rather surprised that we’re still milking the Alldid comic strip arc. I really thought yesterday was going to be the end of it..I suppose it’s because it keeps stretching out, combined with the presence of characters past (Mysta and Alldid) that fuel the flames of possibility…

I never did like Vera or the stories involving him. I guess he turns some people on, like The Jumbler, but I’d rather get back to Abner, BB Eyes, FMM, etc. As RWM and my favorite poster would say, “Z-z-z-z-.”

My oh my, Dick sure has turned into a grumpy old man, hasn’t he? What happened, did Tess switch his coffee to decaf? LOL!!! Speaking of coffee I could sure use a nice hot cup right now. The past few days in Tracyville have been extremely sleep induczzzzzzzzzzzzzzz,,,,,

First Amendment, Supreme court Case, and being a public figure.

Wow! A fictional cartoon character is upset that the cartoon he is in has another fictional character writing fictional-fictional about him and then a fictional movie studio is doing a fictional-fictional on the fictional-fictional based on a fictional character!

How about we go back to finding Orphan Annie and get something interesting going?

Maybe the Comments of the Strip will be part of the new movie…we’ll all be cartoon characters..Pow..Ye Gods..

So what was Tracy’s reaction to the video game that came out in the 1988-1991 time frame? I think it was called “ Jaw”? I traveled a lot in those days so DT wasn’t available in every city.

What ever happened to Sprocket and Nitrate?Are they going to let the car sit on the bottom of the lake tillSpring??We may never know.

He had a very complimentary post on the Yahoo DT Board for a story by Mike a couple months back. So I assume he continues to read the strip, and his ‘colleague’ although under a different names is still here as Morrow occasionally notes.

I know Mike likes to leave doors open, but it would be nice (and realisitc) if Chief Patton popped into the MCU to tell them something like “Tracy, the divers have finished at the lake. They found – (fill in the blank).” Then we would get a sombre looking MCU commenting on the results.It would take only one strip, one day, and make a whole lot of us happy.-—————-I’m curious as to where this current story thread is leading, but after the recent week of interludes, it would be nice if… ah, nevermind. It ain’t gonna happen..
