Arlo is jealous. All Janis did was mention a ‘friend’ request and he assumes the request was from a male. It might have come from a female who Janis either grew to dislike or had an experimental fling with. After all it the 70’s you know.

Maybe, just briefly, she was a groupie?

I’m w Bontebok. These two have their fun and frisky moments. And weird and excited is why they are together. If we bore you, move on.

Actually, Arlo isn’t entirely wrong to be a little wary of such a thing. Our next door neigbor (male) ran off on his partner with someone he met on the internet.

Better still, and a fine example of ‘no good deed goes unpunished’, I taught a former partnet how to use computers. She then went on to have a very interesting clandestine life talking dirty to old school chums…

Ah my, such is life.

@bawana – I don’t color my hair… too little of it to bother. Just as well. I never understood the big deal about hair.

My first thought was it might be from an athlete or actor he admires. If she told him who, then he might want meet him (hence the weird and excited comment).

You know what they say: “Hair today, gone tomorrow”.

I was actually thinking more like Arlo and Janis were in college in the late 60s.

…what’s pathetic about it? I’m in my 50’s, divorced, DEFINITELY not looking, and I colour my hair – I’ve done so for years. I do it for me – I like the way it looks…

For no libido, Arlo and Janis have been together for 25 years. I would say that’s pretty good!

@rcamero1 I’m intrigued! How do you know that I’m close? Have you been peeking in Jimmy Johnson’s windows? Or….. ? (“Groupie” was an just exaggeration, btw, whoever the celebrity was, if that’s the case.)
