I don’t know what’s worse, the Sunday pun strips or something like this. I wasted a whole thirty seconds to find out it’s an inside gag for people who know trivia like the names of sportsball teams. Love Pearls most of the time, but this is a miss.

I’m not a big sports fan, either, but I got them all, too. I think it was a refreshing change from the puns.

How come we never see hawks in this strip? I counted 49, er, 50 at the last Texan bird count. I wanted to ride my colt down there but I’ve gained weight & my cowboy panth’er getting too tight.
