You would think after 8+ years in the NBA, people’s expectations would be a moot point by now. And I thought a boy reincarnated as a peacock was a ridiculous storyline. Someone spill some root beer on this clown.
P3- A degree of comfort has returned to the fair burg of Milford. The mothership has returned after a Summer solistice for another athletic year observing, capturing, probing and collecting data.
Weird timing that this strip appears just after my Celtics traded for Kyrie Irving, who stated that he was “tired of playing second fiddle to LeBron James”.
I still like being paid millions of dollars to be the last man off the bench but I hate that they expect me to play defense during my four minutes a night.
Speaking Portuguese and while thinking of Heather, turning Japanese. I really think so.
Meanwhile on Fantasy Island, As these two run away into the sunset, never to be seen again, tomorrow we get a day at the lake where we are introduced to the new star football player, and Monday 2-a -days begin. Yeah right. Think pleasant thoughts.
So, that’s it! This is a teen angst story about setting your goals low. No expectations means no effort required, sort of like when R&W come up with a story line.
Trey played basketball in Europe. If Jaquan is tired of meeting the NBA’s expectations, then maybe he should play overseas too. He could play in either Brazil or Portugal, since he already speaks the language.
NC high schools…. week two tonight. My great nephew’s team will have played two games before school even starts. Last Friday night was miserable hot too.
A buddy of mine has a daughter at Wake Forest, and he’s going up for their opener. He swears he is going to try to get to a press conference so he can raise his hand and ask where Tru Standish is on the depth chart. I promised him $100 if I see the video.

Judging from p1, Jaquan’s knee surgery wasn’t a success. And why did they start running again?

In P3, they’re running directly into the sun, but seconds before that in P1 they have no shadows behind them. Must be the eclipse was late in Milford.
