Darn, and the Hallmark Card ad is next to my page here, Valentine’s day is a coming (also Ash Wednesday, so there is that), and I still think Les and Gunther will eventually be friendly at least to each other. Who has which girl remains to be seen, but both of them have no real issue with the marriage when the deal is they will be living together in the guest house. Kind of a smart move I think in an odd way. Still want Rosa to come gin things up some more, or maybe Tara somehow, but then that is just me.
Yes, you can…what? Don’t stop there, Les. Don’t worry about Gunther. I don’t think he will move in with you. SO, what can you do?? Don’t cliffhanger us.
Al is pretty quick to assume that he is going to move in with Irma. He’ll kick the boys out and have the privacy to conduct whatever illegal business he indulges in. If this happens, Tiffany will upset his apple cart.
OK, I just don’t get it. Why would the boys not live in the house with Mr. Gray and Mrs. Berger? Also, if Mr. Gray can afford to build one guest house, surely he could build two? One for each boy?
At this point I would imagine Les would just go find his own place rather than live in a guest house with Gunther. And as somebody else pointed out the other day, guest houses are not zoned as permanent residences so they couldn’t live there anyway.
Here’s an interesting concept…. Gunther and Les occupy the guest house and then take on someone else with them… Maybe “Tiff???” Let’s see how they “share” that environment…. :D
Nah…. never happen! OK, back to the Ann Eiffel arc. I want to see TIff destroy her!
If Mr. Nameless Gray and Frau Berger marry, I assume they will live together, right? So…one current residence will be unoccupied. Why can’t the boys just move into THAT place and share expenses? No need to build a new residence, which, by the way, requires building permits and most likely will NOT be allowed on the current property.
Fascinating how the tables turned from almost year when the “monthly dinners with Les” started and Gunther was very against it. Seems Gunther tolerates Les more (somewhat) and now Les is the one fretting about sharing a guest house with Gunther.
Chill-ax Les. Gunther is no more crazy about the idea of you and he sharing living quarters, than you are. I wouldn’t eb surprised if he explored renting Brad’s old room at teh DeGroot’s.
Chill-ax Les. Gunther is no more crazy about the idea of you and he sharing living quarters, than you are. I wouldn’t eb surprised if he explored renting Brad’s old room at teh DeGroot’s.
@BLUNEBOTTLE hinted at a possible Tara and Les hookup. Hmmmm. A conniver and a risk taker. Hmmmm. It has possibilities! I like it. That leaves the way clear for Gunther to remove his curly head out of his nether regions and make a serious move on Tiff. And she will tumble, big time.
Now Everybody just Re-Lax. This Evil Old COFFEE Drinker may the Solution to Gunther’s “problem.”
I presume the Guest House will have a kitchen, right?
Well then, just have Old Smiley come over and cook the Lads a wholly inedible meal as a “House Warming” gift. He’ll promptly burn the place down and then Gunther can go move into the Dorm near Tiffany. And During the Summer Months, Gunther can get a Job at Mr. Farrell’s Corporation while staying at the Farrell Mansion.
And Les? He can go live with His Mom, Ann.
Why is Les NOT staying with His Mom, Ann?
If You’re going to FORCE two People Who Can’t STAND each other to Live Together Greg and Karen, Why can’t it be Ann and Les?
Watching those two slowly destroy each other would be a LOT more Fun than watching Gunther and Les……,
If Tiff ‘moves in’ with Les and Gunther, it’ll be a Three’s Company’ sitcom all over again. But WAIT! … Al and Irma could be ‘The Ropers’!! (And, in certain instances, Al could occasionally also fill in as Mr. Furley!!) :)
Gunther can live in the guest house to be close to Mom. Les, Quill, and Piro will all need a place to live, so maybe they can share an apartment. OK, none of them can afford to pay rent, so they can all share a cardboard box behind the Fuse.
I can kinda guess Al’s master plan here. He’s a successful businessman, but not all of them live in rich mansions. He keeps his money squirreled away and uses it for what he thinks are good causes (Life lesson: You don’t stay rich if you’re spending it all the time. The people with 24k gold toilets could learn from that). He’s been watcing over Leslie and knows Irma is close to Gunther. So he makes a guest house for the boys so Irma can still be with her son and Al can be with Leslie, yet they still have their space. Look folks, you keep casting him under a suspicious light. Someone’s got to point out what’s actually happening. I can’t help but see Al Grey as a nice guy and a smart businessman.
Nice double-take, Leslie. I, too, would question Mr. Gray’s plan for a guest house to shared by you and Gunther Berger. Not even an “Odd Couple,” you two are just not simpatico. And to be sure, your mutual interest in Tiffany could be a complication, if either of you had any “adults only” intent….

Wouldn’t an apartment be cheaper than building a guest house? My guess is that Mr. Gray has some money he needs to launder.
