Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Attempted robbery of Honeymoon at the mall. Abduction and attempted murder of Tracy. The murder of Posie. The arrival of the Governor and his meeting Mysta Chimera. Bribery brought to justice by Tracy and Lee. Crystal in peril in the blizzard. What a great story. Not a whiff of formula. The art is tremendous. When that ring is no longer needed for evidence, Diet Smith may want to examine it.
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel the writers start a story off strong but have weak endings? I thought the Bribery storyline would have a more dramatic ending than this.
I took a close look at the second panel and Bribery’s ring was on his left hand if you look at where his hand is in relation to his head… Also, note where T-Bolt/Lee’s hands are in relation to Bribery…
Well, that was a surprise. I guess Lee is finally ready to put T-bolt up for good then. It would explain her rather calm response to Glitch the other day.
As I noted in a Reply, far Above, “not a shot fired!” I wonder just how strict the “anti-violence” (so called) censorship really is at both GoComics and Tronc. Perhaps it can be seen as the reason for Mike’s sometimes rather abrupt and/or lame endings to stories that have had a long, slow, and entertaining build-up. It’s not the good old Gould days!
In any event, Lee seems happy to shed the “T-Bolt” persona, symbolized by shucking the shades, while shocking Mr. Bribery (panel 3) by her response (panel 2) to his urgent plea (panel 1) to “Do something!” The ironic jab to his over-inflated ego is delicious….

There appears to be a glaring error here. Briberys ring is very obviously on his right hand, but T-Bolt appears to be taking it off his left hand.

Seems it really is the wrap-up this time, save for a random thread or two. ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Good morning™, undercover readers!
Lee still calls him “sir” even as she takes away his ring. It required a lot of trust for him to let her get that close.

PS: I bet Lee will be glad to get back to the MCU!!

Welp, looks like the Gig is up for Mr. Bribery unless he has another trick up his sleeve which looks doubtful.

I wonder if Mysta will feel any remorse about the death of her biological father Posie?

That’s that. Almost too easy…

I hope we get to see how the Governor and Mysta are doing.

Still to get back to the frozen Crystal too..

I sure hope Bribery has a trick or two left to spring on us. If not then this was a lot of time spent on a way too easy ending.

And just like that, Lee jumps to the top of Smiley’s Vengeance List…

She should have clipped Bribery with a right cross while she was at it

The future of Ugly Crystal should be interesting.

Seemed pretty dramatic to me.Bribery was a little luckier this time. Back in ’66, he got shot in the hand before Tracy arrested him.

by the way.. I called this exact scenario yesterday, didn’t I?

Lee needs to get paid for services on Bribery’s payroll……

Nice touch of closing humor on Lee’s part.

Once the dust settles Tracy can become reacquainted with the Moon Governor. Maybe we will finally learn what happened to Moon Valley.

How am I getting confused? Panel one – ring is on ring finger, right hand; panel two – ring is middle finger, left hand. What?

I don’t see any “hand switching”…
And Tracy has the ring in the third panel…

So who’s baby-sitting Crystal?

I’m guessing Bribery will be spending time in the prison mental hospital looking at ink blots

Yep, us oldsters remember the Gould days when suspects were shot and the bullet came wiggling out the other side.
