I posted this Wednesday, but it was towards the end of the day so I am not sure how many people saw it. I made a Tommy Trees and I posted some pictures on Instagram here, https://instagram.com/p/BqbWzMdl0Iy/ There 3 pictures of it there.
Interestingly enough, here in Germany a separate small table for the kids is colloquially known as “Katzentisch”, which literally translates to “cat’s table”
A very Happy Birthday to Lady Kat!!!!! ((((huge engulfing bear birthday bear hugs going your way)))) I hope you and Paul have a splendid day and that he spoils you rotten as you deserve!! :D
The highlight of last night’s preparation for today was ‘when I came out of the kitchen to pick something up from the dining table and saw the Demon with her nose in a can of condensed milk, just lapping it up. :sigh: On the table and open, it’s fair game… Seriously, I laughed so hard I almost tripped over my own feet (And yes, we still used the milk…)
Well, Lupin is the youngest cat, he’s barely out of his kittenhood. Besides, it’s easier to get stuff you’re not supposed to at the kid’s table. Most kids will even help you to do so (when their parents aren’t looking, anyway).
. . . TWO days ago, Georgia Dunn requested that prayers and donations be made toward the medical care for her friend’s cat, that had been missing for two months and recently found . . . alive, though in ill health. Since then, the request has been met. You may wish keep Newton and his family in your prayers and to donate to this “gofundme for Newton”, if you wish. :’(

Good morning and happy Friday, orbsters and orbabies! Paul and I are off for his yearly visit to the orthopaedic surgeon for his bad shoulder, then we are coming home, defrosting, and running a few errands, then coming home and defrosting again!
Good morning orbsters! Thankful for all of you in this orb, and for Georgia creating the environment in which it thrives.
I am at work today, unfortunately, which is just as well because the wet weather last week followed by the cold weather this week have returned me to walking in a semi-bent over position while sucking down pain medication. I have a tech job tomorrow evening and my client is a massage therapist … thinking about taking my payment in kind rather than in cash.
For all our cats everywhere, we are truly thankful. Cookie, Black Elvis, Barak, Chigurh, Bubba and Zippy the Pinhead, every one a rescue but Chigurh who volunteered. And Frank from next door who used to come over to fight our cats. Once we had a yellow feral cat hanging around. Had a chunk of fur missing from his tail. Too skittish to catch. One day, my wife called and said she got lucky and caught him – happened to be standing beside an open carrier when he walked by and she snatched him up and tossed him in – and I should go by the funded clinic on the way home to pick him up after neutering and ear clipping to mark him as fixed. She said at the clinic he had escaped just outside and had run under the building. A worker went after him, ran into a yellow jacket nest, and after first aid finally got him. I picked up a carrier that did indeed have a yellow cat inside. Brought him home and put him in the shop to recover. Looked at him the next day and was surprised. Seems they even fixed the missing chunk of fur. Oops. She mistakenly captured the neighbor cat. They thought it was funny, and he quit fighting and roaming the woods, which made him the first cat they ever had that lasted more than a year. He’s a regular visitor now.
Today all the kitties get ham scraps from Thanksgiving dinner. I’ll leave them out as the dogs and I leave the house or the kitties won’t get any. Mean ole doggies. Selfish too.
Thank Cat I had finished my morning tea when I saw this! This time of year I don’t need to afford a new monitor and keyboard. If I weren’t so stiff I’d be ROTFLMHO.
Happy Friday everyone! I hope my American friends had a great Thanksgiving & are comfortably stuffed!! (I sure am!) As far as my friends outside the US I hope your Thursday was a good one ! TGIF everyone!
OMC this is the most adorable strip ever! (After the last most adorable strips.) Everything about it is perfect. I love all these characters so much! Thank you, Georgia!

Is Elvis finally getting his massage from the baby or is he just plumb tuckered out from being on guard duty?

With Elvis and Puck at table I’d say the man, woman, and baby are at the cats table and Lupin and the toddler are at the sharing is caring table.

Love the attire of the kitties; vest on Lupin, sweater on Puck and a cardigan on Elvis. And the bow tie and hair ribbon on the children. Excellent.

Why would a family of four need a kid’s table, especially since the baby is sitting at the so-called adult table?

Kids’ table? Cats’ table? Let’s see…
There’s one kid at that table – and one at the adult table.
And there’s one cat at that table – and two cats at the adult table.
So which table is for cats and which is for kids? The world may never know.
