Chances are, the pardon has been revoked already. Just pretend you don’t know that. (And take the back door – the front guards are sure to know about any revocation.)
Laws are the enduring legacy of Hammurabi. Love them or hate them, they are infinitely better than a tyrant’s moods. “The law is anything I write on a piece of paper.” – Saddam Hussein
Spook has been pardoned numerous times. Each time he is pardoned or escapes. He returns to the castle and calls out: “THE KING IS A FINK”. He is then thrown back in the dungeon. He is the definition of the word Recidivism. Recidivism: is the act of a person repeating an undesirable behavior after they have experienced negative consequences of that behavior. He just can’t help himself. Does anyone know how this got started? Or for that matter what The Spook’s real name is?
Thanks for defining Recidivism for all us poor uneducated, unable to use a dictionary or brain-dead readers. Nice of you to take the trouble to be so obvious.
It’s odd that different people view the same thing quite differently. The spook’s repetitive behavior reminds me of Nelson Mandela, not a clueless recidivist. I suppose the difference lies in one’s values.

He must take advantage of it, it’s an opportunity to enjoy freedom and the air. In addition he could escape from the kingdom.
