I always considered “reality” tv shows delusional.

For me, watching a reality show is a waste of time, there are better forms of entertainment.

On Saturday I mentioned that thousands of university students would have a drunken party in Waterloo for St. Patrick’s Day. Well, they did.

The police estimate that 25,000 to 30,000 jammed the streets with the first festivities starting before dawn and indoor parties continuing even now. A couple of dozen drunks were carted away and a few more arrested. Not bad for a party the size of a small city.

Reality TV is anything but reality. It may be “real” because the actors are actually experiencing it, but it doesn’t resemble anything else out in the real world.

Self-Delusiontopia is spelled B-A-R for short.

Reality TV is unreal. That is a reason not to watch.

Watching TV is in itself a major waste of time, though I’ll admit I binge-watch the occasional sitcom or a movie or two using some of the available streaming services.

Outside of C-SPAN, reality is a rare commodity on television.

Anyone who thinks reality TV exposes them to reality is incurably delusional anyway. In their case, it won’t make any difference whether they watch it or avoid it.

I wish I could script my own reality sometimes.

Remember, Imagination is the last real weapon in the war against reality…..

With recreational weed thrown in.

I love how everyone jumps on the phrase “Reality TV,” as if anyone connected to the Shows originated the phrase, or particularly like it. It came from a media moron.

Reality TV is scripted and chopped and spliced to with in an inch of it’s life. No one would watch real reality TV unless you paid them.
