Wally is linked to the Dittos, now they’re responding to the confusion in his mind.

Anything with teeth like that is something to worry about.

What scared all three of them in the past…..Jim in Schism mode. What ever is here and has these folks is feeding off of them. If they try to fight it or expose it the entity generates what scares them the most. Very much like the ones around Hillside with Al and Gustine.

That can’t be good.

Zounds! That horrifying gnashing visage heralds the return of Jim, is this the end for this sanctuary as well?

Did they ever explain just what “schism syndrome” actually is, or what happens to someone who has it?

Can Nanobot become insane? Perhaps that is the cause of the mutations.

Well, I guess the humor is over an we’re back to horror!

That would scare the poop out of me! I suspect if the entity tries to go after Wally, they’ll have to go through Kirbee first.

I feel a disturbance in the dittos…

Well, I had a small hope the inkstain was friendly – nope.

Have we ever learned (I haven’t, QED) what, precisely “dittos” are? Some remnant of the war? Some new lifeform? Some R&D that went rogue?

Wise ones?

Reminds me of the beginning lyrics in the Peter Gabriel song, ‘Digging In The Dirt’: “Something in me, dark and sticky. All the time it’s getting strong. No way of dealing with this feeling. Can’t go on like this too long…” The dittos must be manifesting that side of Wally.

Those dittos could just as easily be a manifestation of Wally’s id rather than Jim’s. Those teeth are not dissimilar to his.

Soo, let’s recap what’s happened in the last few weeks:

1. Our heroes have situated themselves in a seemingly nice colony.

2. Colony seems to not be so nice.

3. In all this time Wally has secretly been the superhero Laundrocat.

4. Ghosts are actually sea-dwelling Topsiders with the ability to turn invisible.

5. Wally’s new sidekick Jumbowash (you try coming up with a pun here…) confirms the colony to not be so nice.

6. Wally beats up a blind stork, who mocks him for only being able to count to 4.

7. Apparently the only way to read comics is to wear inter-dimensional goggles, which is probably why everyone is always stressed.

8. Wally finds out Kirby can count to 5, making her more intelligent than him and Chick.

9. Upon learning this Wally faints from the shock and the ghost of Jim comes to haunt them.

Well, congratulations Aaron. You have left me utterly befuddled.

This could have turned out better. Maybe if the comic was published by Disney, instead of Hammer.

Oh fck… You’ve been talking to God again. Geezus.

I come and read the comments section from time-to-time, and everyone makes some really interesting comments about the storyline and leaves links which are often really helpful in remembering what has gone before. Sometimes I comment but not often. Today I have just one comment, “Uh-oh!”

Now I’m wondering if the “invisible Topsider” that Chick saw was actually dittos manifesting as his greatest fear…

Has anyone else made a comparison of this panel 4 to the August 15, 2018 panel 4? “It” seems to be making an appearance in multiple points along the timeline, pure anger and a little evil all wrapped up in one.

Don’t recognize the face offhand. Maybe with a little more body to it…

I wonder, if the dittos being a collective colony, have a collective memory.
