On the other hand, James Cheeseburger only lived to be 74, but he enjoyed it a lot more.

That assertion about the cat is pure conjecture.

Robert must be like Mary Poppins (just a spoonful of petroleum jelly makes the medicine go down in the most PECULIAR way)

Well, my cats never brought me a present, so I guess I’ve got great hunting skills.

What a waste of real chocolate. They could’ve made a lot of poor kids happy, but nooooo.

It was the original movie — and far better version — that established the Wonka brand….

How do we know that if he had not eaten petroleum jelly, he would have lived to 104?

Leave it to a cat to turn a gift into an insult.

When my cat catches something he avoids me. I guess he is afraid I will eat his mouse or rat.

I’m pretty sure there is actual Wonka chocolate, is it a sub-brand of Nestle or did they not support the movie about their own stuff?

I hope no one tries the petroleum jelly claim. It seems to me that this water proof item would coat intestines and interfere with the digestive process. Sounds bad to me.

Not only did Robert Chesebrough claim health benefits, he also established several bathroom speed records.

Too bad that dude ate so much petroleum jelly, he probably would have lived to 106 if he hadn’t eaten that crap.

Robert Chesebrough apparently went to extremes to sell his product.

According to Wikipedia: "Chesebrough traveled around New York demonstrating the product to encourage sales by burning his skin with acid or an open flame, then spreading the ointment on his injuries and showing his past injuries healed, he claimed, by his miracle product. "

Chesebrough may jave lived that many years in spite of this strange dietary habit, not necessarily because of it.

A single case of something happening proves that the thing happened once. And more often than not, cause/effect are not only not proved, they aren’t even evidenced.

Mr. Chesebrough also coined the phrase: “Never trust a fart.” He learned this the hard way.
