I think Opal needs to change her hearing aid battery.

The redecorating committee of one has made the choice. No other opinions qualified for consideration.

I don’t find that incredible, seems utterly reasonable to me. But then my wife has quite clearly explained to me how much my opinion on such things matters. Hint “how much” can be a very small amount.

When we added a den, I was put in charge of the construction and decoration. Totally in charge, however, I would give him three choices on items. After the fourth batch of wallpaper samples, I took him to the wallpaper store. He walked in, stopped at the door, was struck by so many books of wallpaper, and said that whatever I wanted was fine. After that I did had total charge.

“It’s incredible how much I don’t care”… Made me laugh out loud! That would be me with any plans to redecorate.

Is there a problem with the backsplash that is in place now ? or does Opal just want to change color ?

Use brown tiles. The stains won’t show.

Opal is smart not to give Earl any say on the house. When Deborah gave Raymond a little bit of power on Everybody Loves Raymond, he almost burned down the house with it.

Earl’s answer was irrelevant and he knew it. Spent an hour in Hobby Lobby helping the wife pick out Fall decorations. Well, spent 40 minutes making recommendations and the final 20 minutes staring at my phone after every suggestion was ignored.

The problem with the Subway one is that it’s isn’t quite as long as advertised.

This reminds me of keeping up apperances.

Our last kitchen project was getting sheet vinyl flooring installed. My wife and I, independently, picked the same pattern! Fake random stone that doesn’t show the dirt.

Earl, it’s your husbandly duty to suggest the cheaper one.

Great,the Subway Tiles, I always wanted to have Our Home Look like the Subway,nothing better in the Kitchen for Our Appetite.Do they come with Realistic Urine Stains,Crud,Blood Stains,Our Choice of Graffiti Themes,etc.? Can we accent with a Wino Statuette or two ? ( Sorry, was on liberty in NYC in the 80’s was at Grand Central station and used the subways and it Must of Been a Bad Day cause it was a Mess, as were my Dress Whites afterwards. )
