Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I sure never foresaw my current shape from when I was that age. ’Course I never managed to wrap my head around the idea of actually being ¼ of a century old either.
The Destiny Hall of Mirrors, aka the House of Horrors! How is that busty cheerleader going to like discovering that in the future she will be buying her bras in a 39 Long!
In mid-1980’s in a friendly kidding session, some of my punster students joked that I my music was old, my jokes were old, and I was old, bald—headed, bow-legged, and overweight At the time I was in my early 40’s and in very good physical shape and they knew that. My reply was to suggest they take a good look at any elderly relative who they most resembled. Then I told them that one day years hence they would look into their mirrors and see that exact face and shape. And there, looking over their shoulders would be me, laughing. I know some of them are seeing and remembering the old guy’s prophecy right now. Payback is awesome. Bwah-ha-ha-haaa!!
that should have been have at 15-16 lol getting so old I cant type, fingers must be good for something….sticking in my ears so I don’t hear the women complain.
FIRST REAL LAUGH OF THE DAY! Hey, kid, if you’re lucky, you won’t have to carry a briefcase; you’ll find other work more gratifying than corporate USA—such as drawing comics!
It’s a rare comic that gets a Snort! and a giggle. I was prematurely bald and out of shape in high school; fifty years later – same. Even weigh the same.
I am a child of the 60’s who is now in his 70’s. What happened to our generation? Where are the protests against the establishment – especially the current establishment? Have we all sold out to “the man?”
Maybe it is the generations in between. I am sure there are some good people (just like Trump believes that there are some good Mexicans), but the generalization is that they are mindless and selfish. They believe what they are told without questioning and love their neighbor only if they can choose WHO their neighbor is and as long as it doesn’t interfere with their being superior to them.
We live in fear of Mexicans, Muslims, gays, Chinese, women who do not “know their place”, the browning of America and even things as trivial as running out of toilet paper. How is it that we still have enough fear left to worry about dying from a disease or the financial turmoil it is causing?
Oh wait, finance is fine, don’t worry about that, the Stock Market is doing well. You should not worry about paying YOUR bills, your government doesn’t worry about paying theirs.
Things were simpler in my day, all I worried about was being nuked out of existence by a multi-megaton Soviet weapon.
Please tell me I am wrong. Where is the voice of reason?
Sorry, Wiley, but we’re always thin and have full heads of hair when we look in the mirrors at that age. And, of course, no actions we take have any long term repercussions.
Well, if it was good enough for Jerry Rubin………. the fine capitalist that he became. Hey, a guy’s gotta eat and the big “C” is the only game in town.

Those mirrors are on the floor, attached to spring loaded boards that come up quickly and smack you very hard right in the face.
