I can remember the days when the United States used to be a space-faring country.

“Sorry Captain Columbus, your funding has been cut. We beat the British to the New World, there is no reason to go back.”

Me thinks he was smoking a little 420 if he thought he could reach up and touch the moon.

Don’t feel bad dude. Only a few can do the moon. Oddly enough, fewer can jump the grand canyon on a motorcycle/rocket sled.

We need to hear/sing it in these days.

We need to keep going, keep reaching. Keep learning. Think of all the things developed for the space program that we use today.

That is the depressing part. For me anyway.

Wow. Commemorating the 48th anniversary of the fifth of six times we landed on the moon! I can’t believe there hasn’t been a song or a movie!
