Aunts and uncles are fun to observe. Sometimes you wonder how they could be related to your parents, other times like my mother and her younger sisters, they’re like peas in a pod. I miss them all.

The boring part is the half-hour getting the chat working satisfactory.

Bet he misses her hugs. And, if she’s anything like my aunts, she takes him into the kitchen and chats while making all kinds of goodies. Was fascinating to watch either of them at work. Also kept me out of trouble, which was the main aim of almost every adult I knew.

If it looks like they were social distancing a good six feet please reply.

Let me guess. Aunt Betsy used to bring chocolate with her every time she visited in person?

She may be sick,in a nursing home/hospital.

Watching LivePD, the commentators were not nearly as fluid in their discussions, working from their homes, as they are when they are sitting next to each other.

I have not ever Zoomed with family or friends during this entire lock down. I have done voice chat while playing video games with them.

Skyping with my family is not as much fun when we are all sheltering at home in different states and have nothing happening. Even the grandkids have little to contribute to conversation.

That is most concerning.

I wish I  had had an aunt or uncle like Betsy. At least most of them had moments  of being interesting.
