I guess those Viking boats didn’t burn entirely, if they found remnants of board games.

Just imagine: Pauran Layne having 70 book signings all on the same day in the same location.

What a waste of a perfectly good boat. Why not just a small simple raft, & light it on fire?

70 pen names… Editor: “Not one of your books has been sold” Paine: “OK, maybe it’s my pen name… I’ll change that…” Editor: “You did it 69 times already!!!! try writing something good for a change!!!” :D (Who the heck is that guy????)

I have written stories using many pen names…Bic, Papermate, Faber-Castell, Montblanc, Sheaffer, Waterman, Uni-ball…the list goes on.

All those names.. what a Paine.

So the boats burnt, but the contents “survived”? I understand the boats would burn down to the waterline so below that would remain. I assume the board games were not made of boards.

I would bet that the predominant board game found was Hnefatafl. It’s really a great strategic game…

Did the Vikings get their board games on eBay? I may have been the seller, having sold over 9000 games there. lol

The reason for the boat was to carry the warrior to Valhalla.

PS to my last: The boat was usually an old one that had some significance to the warrior.

Poor pandas. All fiber and no nutrients in their diet. Sorta like having to eat kale …
