there are times I find on YouTube relaxing music which (at times) has no animation

I just listen, I’m usually doing something other than watching.

When I worked a 28 & 28 shift overseas, I left the television on during the 28 days (plus transit time) I was gone. It made my home seem occupied with the people’s voices, music and changing lights.

I do just the opposite by streaming Pandora.

If it’s “pretty moving pictures”, then she must not watch the newscasts…

A lot of the things on television are not pretty to look at.

I cannot watch Ellen anymore. All of the screaming in the audience hurts my ears.

We have music channels, use “Soundscape” as background music.

Opal is probably better off with the sound off on today’s daytime TV.!

Whoa. All this time, I thought Ellen Degeneres was a fish.

Seems it would be a tad hard to Knit and watch TV at the same time … without making a mistake ;-)

I prefer watching the fish.

There is so much garbage on TV today it sickens me! If it isn’t a dumb reality show it’s a lame game show…..enough already!

Up until a week or so ago we had a wildlife cam station watching nesting eagles in Idaho. They’ve hatched and left the nest, so now we’re back to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

We used to get high, turn on some music and then watch TV with the sound off. TV was MUCH better like that,

I like to go on virtual train rides in YouTube, like though Switzerland, Norway or West Virginia.

Then the ads come on, and you’re subjected to visual screaming.

I read, do crossword puzzles, craft with the tv on. Noise not just pics make it work.

I often turn on a program from NatGeo or Discovery Channels and turn the sound off. The excellent nature photography makes a nice soothing background while doing other things.

Feels good to be back after a 6 year hiatus,it’ll take a while to iron out the kinks. Hey,y’all.

I guess I would pick Ellen DeGeneres over Sean Hannity if I wanted a background picture!

I DVR’d the 24 hour yule log last Christmas. Looks nice with no volume. I just wish I could rig it to hear the crackling fire and turn off the carols.

The TV with the picture on and the sound off is far better than one with the sound on and the picture off. Unless you like the elevator music channels…
