Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Now that heâs spotted the drone, he obviously canât go back for the rock. Heâd better change to Plan B, if he has one. I have a feeling that his carefully synchronized schedule didnât allow for this situation.
As far as being in that district, there is no law against him being there. Even if he is a perfume manufacturer and has no customers there.
Not even sure if Commissioner Gordon thinks the meteorite is in danger. No connection between him and the dart that barely missed Bat â er â Tracy.
And no trace of Daisy.
Iâd say, Yeti is in pretty good shape if all he does is pack it up and goes home.
For those who think no rock means no case, Yeti has again acquired a brain (the implications were he had one originally, we simply havenât seen it in the current storyline) and knows the drone is not there by random chance. He doesnât know how much it has recorded, but enough for a conviction. He will race away and be killed in the ensuing accident (seems the most common Tracy lesson: speed kills). And the whole nerve toxin and perfume intro, along with the spiders, was wasted. Tracy trying to find the source of the poison â and Yeti insisting it was done by a rival company to discredit him would have made an interesting storyline.
By this point, Tracy and Sam have already followed the drone operatorâs info and picked up the rock, and fished Daisy out of the sewer (two seen going in, one seen coming outâŚ). There should be a half dozen police cars arriving just in time for Sundayâs strip!
Whistle, whistle, nothing to see here. What? Meteorite? How unusual. No, sorry officer, I have NO idea what youâre talking about. Daisy? Daisy Who? Well, I do know a Daisy, but I fired him long ago. I didnât trust him, he seemed up to no good, not a good sort at all, if you know what I mean. Yes, I take pictures with a lot of people, that means nothing.
Of course, there is the question of whether any evidence gathered by the drone, at this point, can be admitted into evidence. Probable cause, unreasonable search, and all that.
If we are doing old protest songs Iâll go with this one by the Kingston Trio. It is strange how much it is just the same now as when they wrote it in 1959. The Merry Minuet.
A drone with camera and a facial recognition program at the precinct linked to the criminal data base could I.D. him. Computers can aid crime fighting greatly. The wider the data base the greater the chance of finding out who this Ye-ti person may be.
Unless Yeti has already figured out exactly where and how he lost the meteorite, âgoing backâ simply will not help, as there is far too much ground to surveil and too little time.
And now Skynet has him in its sights! Things just are not going Yetiâs way; when a crazed, megalomaniacal plan falls apart, the wreckage is really messyâŚ.

Turn yourself in, Yeti, and hope itâs the Law and not the Police

Called it. Now Yetiâs only option will be to make tracks- hopefully faster than that drone can fly. Or out of its range, which is pretty likely.

His only hope is that the henchman that he left for dead rises, comes out and happens upon the meteorite as he stumbles back to the shop.

This strip should be called Drone Tracy because the drone is doing all the crimefighting.

Hang on everybody! I submit that Yeti can now âinnocentlyâ find an interesting rock in the street. No law against that.
