I AM expecting a much better option. Though the baby Drumpf will stick around for a month or so, probably.

I am going to stay up until midnight, not just to celebrate the new year, but to make sure the old one actually leaves. I am afraid that 2020 may try to pull a coup and refuse to let Baby New Year 2021 be inaugurated.

The CURSE of 2020 — the Trumpocalypse — has been a conflation of:

• 1918 pandemic

• 1929 economic crash

• 1942 concentration camps (for babies w/o parents)

• 1968 civil unrest

And some new innovations:

— unprecedented record climate-driven multi-state wildfires

— record climate-driven frequency and severity of hurricanes

— murder hornets

— national coin shortage (really?)

— large scale unprecedented migratory bird die-off

— East Africa locust plague — worst in 70 years

— death of nation’s top civil rights icon (John Lewis)

— death of the first “rock star” Supreme Court justice icon and pending replacement by a character straight outta “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

— Babies in cages whose parents now can’t be located

— More than 340,000 DEAD AMERICANS (and rising) because Trump failed to act even though he knew

— Economic crash; millions of people out of work and businesses closed

— Alienation of our international friends and allies; pal around with dictators (Russia, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Turkey) and trust foreign dictators more than our own intelligence experts

— Empty store shelves that look like Venezuela or a third world country

— Fires in the West, flooding in the Midwest, hurricanes along the Gulf coast because of environmental and climate destruction

— Nazis and KKKonfederates feeling empowered to openly fly the swastika and “stars and bars” of flags that were both literally defeated in wars by REAL Americans

DD forgot the ongoing, continuing hack of American data by Russian state hackers. That’s going to hurt for years, possibly a decade or more.

Well he IS a baby, and not as mature as the one they usually show.

There are at least 74 million supporters of Disaster Pumpkin in this country, almost all of whom will eagerly tell you what a great, fabulous, amazing job he’s done as president. But ask them to name 4 accomplishments, 1 for each year he held office. Here, let me help:

Border wall: not built.

Afghanistan War: still going.

“Easy to win” trade war: still going, sales down, prices up.

Coal-mining and auto-making jobs: still gone.

Unemployment: worst since Great Depression.

Farm bankruptcies: rising daily.

Rural broadband: nope.

America’s infrastructure: still crumbling.

College debt: staggering.

Postal service: under attack.

Social Security: threatened.

Public schools: funding diverted to for-profit and religious ones.

Drug-abuse and homelessness crises: worse than ever.

Climate change: wants to keep burning fossil fuels.

America’s standing as leader of the free world: trashed.

“Art of the deal”: Won’t negotiate with Congress; broke America’s word on Paris Climate Accords and Iran nuclear bargain; did slap new label on NAFTA.

Law and order: more top administration and campaign officials under indictment in four years than previous seven presidents in 43.

Business management: Cabinet a revolving door of firings and resignations; majority of federal agencies under unconfirmed acting heads.

Nazis and Klansmen: “fine people”.

Our troops: “losers”, “suckers”, bonus insults for POWs and Gold Star families.

Health care: best in the world — and free — if you’re him.

Coronavirus: total, colossal, unmitigated, blundering, mismanaged catastrophe.

So just TRY to find those 4 gold nuggets in that gigantic pile of manure. Then face the hard reality: he ran the country the same way he ran his casinos, university, and airline — into the ground. Using other people’s money. Taking no responsibility. Stiffing the people who actually do the work.

Because when it’s always all about him, it’s never going to be about you!

Will someone please invent a time machine to go give Fred Trump an emergency vasectomy before the Orange Horror was conceived?

Even in a comic he is revolting.

Why stop at “24” when “President for Life” sounds so much better?

I’m hoping that by Jan. 21, Trump will fade, like a bad dream.

The only way to prevent more disaster is to get rid of his abettor, Moscow Mitch by vote blue this January Senate run off in Georgia.

The only way we’ll be rid if him is to indict convict him. C’mon SDNY and NYAG.

What’s really scary is the thought that some people have had that he will try to become a “President in Exile” after Jan. 20, and they will ONLY listen to whatever stupidity HE is spewing at that particular moment from WHEREVER he happens to be holed up, hiding from the Attorney General of the Southern District of New York! I know the people of Palm Beach DON’T want him living at Mar-A-Lardo full time, which, legally, HE CAN’T DO! Maybe Vlad has a nice little Dacha somewhere in Siberia waiting for trump, his most valuable Asset, to move into.

Rob, if that’s really 2021, please draw a second panel where the old man uses his scythe to good effect!

If we ignore him, maybe he will go away. It always works that way for third-grade spoiled bullies; it should work for him. If only we could get more people to be less interested….

A few weeks and we won’t have to see him in the normal, unbiased news. He’ll be on OAN (only assholes network) and the Twitter wanna-be. Speaking of Twitter, now they’ll be able to ban him for his bullshit. I tell ya, 2021 is looking up already.
