This has always supposed to be some deep philosophical question…but it just boils down to how you define sound. You may as well ask if the tree fell if no one sees it fall.
This Philosophical question always seemed silly to me. The sound of a tree falling is a Physical Reality even if there are no witnesses to it.
The more telling question to me is how many waves similar to sound that pass by us on a continuous basis that most (if not all) of us are oblivious to.
Johnny Carson once did a comedy bit about this on “The Tonight Show”. He played what was purported to be a recording of a tree falling with no one around to hear it. Johnny appeared to have no punchline for it. An audience member, however, “bailed him out of it,” supposedly, by shouting “I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up!” The audience went nuts.
What if someone is outside the woods but can still detect the compression waves created by the kinetic to mechanical energy conversion of the tree? Then the answer is yes.

If a man says something in the forest and his wife isn’t there to hear it, is he still wrong?

If a tree falls here, will you make a sound in the forest?

“There is trouble in the forest,”
“And the creatures all have fled.”
“As the maples scream Oppression!”
“And the oaks just shake their heads.” – Rush “Trees.”

If a tree falls in the woods and there are only deaf people there, does anyone hear it?

Obviously, it only makes a sound if I’M around to hear it.

If a tree falls on a daisy (before anyone sees it), did it really even exist? (Does it matter?)

Well, I do care. Gots to watch me head while I’m at my usual business in the woods.

I was once walking through the forest alone. A tree fell right in front of me, and I didn’t hear a thing.

Yes, if sound can cause an avalanche, then sound is made when the tree falls. Whether some is there to hear it or not.

If a yellow daisy is speaking a soliloquy in the woods, and there is no one around to hear it, besides the trees, is it still a soliloquy by a daisy?

Just wait until the sun is in the other half of the sky. Then you’ll be blocking THEIR sunlight.

It does not make a noise. It does cause vibrations.
