LOL, in one of my comments yesterday, I mentioned that Tiff would tell her that the bathroom was up the left side of the stairs, second level, and 47th door on the right.

Ever see a four ply quilted embroidered and silk fibered roll of toilet paper?

Better escort Bets to the bathroom and play sentry until she comes out so she doesn’t get lost trying to walk back to whatever room you were in. Or give her a map if you have one!

Twelve bathrooms! Who cleans all those in that huge house? Better yet, who uses them all?

I just can’t wrap my mind around a house that big for a single father, unless this is The Sound of Music and Tiff has six or seven siblings from Tom’s other mistresses.

I can imagine a younger Tiffany quarreling with her Dad: “That’s enough young lady, go to your room this instant!” Five minutes later: Slam!

Today’s episode reminds me of an old Monty Python sketched about three old men. They’re sitting around reminiscing about how miserable their youth was. And as the story passes from one to the next the story gets bigger and crazier. Tiffany’s house just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Twelve bathrooms? Is there a like bathroom connected to every room in the house? I could see one near the kitchen and one near the from door and maybe one in the middle of the house. That still leaves nine bathrooms for upstairs! So rich is Ton F. and what does he do? In the past I thought Tiffany said he was a businessman, whih might explain his annual trips to Paris as part of some Import-Export business. AE said he was a lawyer. If he’s a lawyer that can afford that big of a house he must be a partner in a very large firm. Because his house isn’t a McMansion, nor is it a mansion, it’s Hollywood Star scale grossness. In attempting to gild the lily I think Greg has jumped the shark.

Where is the bunker room, Tiffany? Maybe, Ann Eiffel is hiding there?

Sorry but the view on the house from the outside shows a big house, not this big however.

I really like Bets. She’s funny and has a very positive attitude. Tiffany has found a great friend in her ♡. I’m more and more curious about Tiffany’s assignment and what they will do. Attending a fancy dinner at that mansion would be fantastic! But I doubt Tom would approve.

It’s great having a friend to study with.

Why does Tom have a house that big for just two people, especially when he’s never there? He might as well just burn giant piles of money.

A man this rich should easily be able to pay for a gold digging girlfriend and a spoiled daughter at the same time. Probably with plenty left over for a few sugar babies.

Reminds me of when Bill Gates got married, she took one look at the 60,000 sf building he designed and said something along the line of, “Nice conference center. Where’s our house?”

I’m paying close attention to this story arc because I like Bets — she’s a hottie who’s hot for Gunther, the class nerd, which doesn’t happen often — and Tiffany is working on many issues beneath her princessy veneer, which makes her interesting and likable.

If Tiffany’s father was this wealthy when she was growing up I’m surprised he didn’t send her to a posh private school rather than the local (and seemingly not all that good) public school. Speaking of local, I’m surprised a mansion like that was in the same neighborhood or even school district as Luann’s house.

The tram is a freebie.

With Ann gone, why isn’t Tiffany back in the dorms?

Seems GnK have been enamored of female living arrangements for a year or more. Pru moved out in April last year. Nancy took a job at the Fuse causing hilarity to ensue at suppertime. Bernice is expatriated into Pru’s old room. Now Tara is crashing on the DeGroot’s sofa, even though she has a “place” she shared with her recently re-incarcerated cousin. And now GnK have us flirting with a Bets moving in to Tiffany Towers.

This may be the start of some rearrangements resulting in the need for fresh material. The college material was crashing. (The intro of the Hall A crowd with Kip and Stefani Bird as Tiff’s new roomie crashed and also burned.) Tiff and Bets in close proximity offers interesting possibilities, especially with the boys in the Gulag. The Luann and Bernice proximity has already borne fruit in a resurrection of Jack as infatuation material. So this may wind up as a brilliant move on GnK’s part.

Cute! I vote for the sunroom. Maybe we could see the gardens! ;-D Will they ever study or just tour the mansion? Will Bets post photos and end up with a party? So many possibilities here.

Something to ponder. Looking at Tiff in the blouse and slacks, she still appears a bit on the plump side. Now that the whole Eiffel has been resolved for months, I’m wondering why her appearance / weight has not diminished. I know that an artist over time will morph characters a bit to fit their current style or showing age, but something seems not to add up. Perhaps a future storyline of her continuing to battle compulsive eating and/or the fact she had to go into super training / diet mode 24/7 in Highschool to maintain that model look. Then again, how many of us put on the Freshman 10 / 20 pounds because we let our diet habits get out of whack. Granted the other characters look about the same.

An off-topic observation here, but… when will the Character page be updated? Prudence and Piro can definitely be removed, and probably Knute and Crystal as well since they haven’t been seen in years. And it’s funny that the picture of Jonah with Shannon shows them with a closer interaction than has been portrayed on strip in about 5 years. I’m assuming the only reason he’s shown at all is so new readers don’t assume the kid belongs to Brad and Toni. And is there anyone new that can be added? I feel like the overall cast has been trimmed down with no replacement characters added in.

Tom Farrell still has ties to his humble past. On the side yard (the side Greg never shows), Tom has eight 1970’s Pontiac Trans – Am’s sitting on cinder blocks, and a portrait of Jackie Gleason hanging in his study.

Tom was always known to be wealthy, but this is mega-wealth. It is absurd for him to own a house this huge. He couldn’t have been having the hard times Ann had claimed AND be able to keep the house. I guess the mortgage has been paid. Tom’s wealth has been expanded to absurdity; very unlikely Tiff would have attended a public school with a dad this rich.

Just hold it in for a minute, Bets, while Tiff mentally reviews the layout of Farrell Manse….

I went to a Christmas party at the home of a friend’s parents. The master bath was bigger than my parents’ living room and included a fireplace and several couches for relaxing.

How far back would one have to go to see Tiffany in her bubble-headed, thin and sexy vamp period, as when she nearly ambushed poor Gunther out of the shower “au-natural” with just a towel..
